My maternal great-grandmother and father lived to celebrate their 75th wedding Anniversary!! One of their kids, my grand- mother threw a lavish party for them. They both wore the clothes they were married in to their party! That day, in the middle of the celebration, my great-grandfather began to feel unwell, and he went back home. Hours later, his wife also went home - and she found that he had died, and on the day he got married! She went to live with my grandparents. She lived to be well over one hundred years old! I do remember her, but I was only 5 or 6 years old when she passed away. I just remember passing her bedroom many times and seeing her in bed. Now I think she might have had a stroke, because she couldn't talk by the time I first met her. But, yeah, she was happily married for seventy-five years - still able to slip into her wedding gown after she had twelve children!

In tears watching this a month after celebrating my 10th with my wife. We married as soon as she turned 18 (I had just turned 20; been a package since she was 13 and I was 15!).
My parents were married 23 years but they were together for 28 years, not once did I ever see them fight. Argue? Occasionally but they never went to bed angry. Game night once a week or more. They were always doing things together. My mom is a brittle diabetic and my dad started watching out for and taking care of her when they started dating at 15...and she took care of him when he got gallbladder cancer. He was expected to live less than a week and he made it almost three years...they never once regretted having their first kid at 20 and their second at 26 (me!!). They weren’t religious, but they loved eachother and always put love and family first. They truly were made for eachother. This video made me tear up thinking about them, I miss my dad with all my heart and this couple reminds me of my parents so much. They never doubted what they had. They loved eachother and times were tough but they always made it work and I honestly believe it was my mom always being there than gave my dad the strength to live those 3 years...and she was up almost every hour those three years during the night to help care for him and not once did she complain...about a month before he passed she finally was so exhausted that my sister and I forced her to let us take care of him and she had to sleep...she slept 19hours straight and my dad just sat next to her for as long as he could take it with his surgery scars and just held her. They had the type of love I hope one day I have as well. No fairytale ending but truly love. “There are no happy endings. Endings are the saddest part. So give me a happy middle, and a very happy start.” -Shel Silverstein
This comment is truly underrated. Such a touching story '. This made me tear up because my parents are always fighting w each other. They don't seem happy at all together. It's been 23 years now. :(
This is why most people will never have relationship like your parents or this couple in the video. Most people don't realize what it takes, don't have common values, don't stay committed to what made the relationship work, and etc. Most people make relationships harder than they have to be.

My parents are married for 20 years, but their relationship is horrible. I’d think It’d just be better if they broke up because I’m tired of the horrible arguments and verbal abuse. But I’m happy because you have parents with a nice relationship! It shows that things work out sometimes 😁
Nowadays, Couples don’t REALLY love each other. They usually break up after a Month or something. These two were Marvelous and their Relationship was beautiful. R.I.P Dale and Alice ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
On the contrary, back then, it was common for couples to be wed off by arrangement or in the same year they got together. And not all marriages were as happy as this couple was. What we’re looking at is a married couple that remained happy through the end. True love happens throughput the ages, but only now do people have the option to separate.

I’m totally impressed of the love that they had for each other. Anyone would really wish to have a long and lasting love just like Dale’s and Alice’s. Their 83 years of marriage is proof enough that we could actually stay in love with someone for a long time.
During this interview, something really stuck out to me about what they have together, and what is probably a main ingredient to their long and happy marriage over 80 years; and seem to still be in love-and that something is laughter. The ability to banter, laugh at each other and theirselves, and probably life itself. That can be a glorious, special thing to share with someone. The ability to laugh together heals and helps a relationship so much. And I also noticed that they stick together. Committed to being by each others side. No matter what. Where there is one, there’s the other. So Beautiful. It gives me hope. They give me hope that love is still alive in this world we live in today. Love that can last a lifetime ❤️my grandparents were like that. But it’s much sadder. My grandfather and grandmother got married at 19. My grandfather was in the Navy, and he became missing in action during the Korean War. They never found him. My grandparents had been married 6 years when he disappeared. And they had two children. One of those kids is my Mom. He never came back and was presumed deceased. However, my grandmother loved him so much, that for the rest of her life (60 more years) she never had another man, went on a date, had a boyfriend, she considered herself still married, slept with his picture on her pillow every night, and wore her wedding ring till the day she died and never gave up hope that she would see him again someday. And she was beautiful. Stunningly beautiful. Red Auburn hair and beautiful green eyes. And a smile and face that lit up a room. Many Many MANY men tried to court her after he was declared deceased. And she rejected every one of them because in her mine SHE WAS MARRIED. And she didn’t need any man but her husband. She single handedly raised her two children on her own, acquired two rental properties for income, performed on stage and on the radio doing voice work, and never took welfare or any man’s hand out or advances. She was really something, my Gran. When she passed away, my grandfather’s picture was beside her. My wonderful extraordinary grandmother, who was a mezzo-soprano opera singer and business woman, showed me what true love looks like. What devotion and commitment look like. What hard work and determination look like. She showed me that hope can lift you up and get you through those times when the weight of the world is on your shoulders. And her life was a testament that love is real. Love you Gran. Miss you so much. But I know you’re with Pop pop now. And that you were right when you said you’d see him again someday. Love you ❤️

Wow, they were married for more than a month? If anyone ever wants to hear about the shortest-lasting and most expensive wedding in the world, just ask my cousin.
My cousin spends all his free time playing video games or dating his girlfriend if he has one. She wanted to be a special education teacher and was taking child and family psychology classes at her college, but I think she had bipolar disorder herself. I overheard my aunt telling my cousin a couple of times that she wanted him to stand up for both his family and himself when they were having an argument and not to give in to everything she says. My aunt also told me that his girlfriend used to say kind of mean and discouraging things when she was angry with him. They got married in March 2014. I still have an engraved wallet they gave me that day. The wedding was at the Cold Spring Country Club, I think. I asked my cousin how much he's going to spend on the next wedding if he ever gets married again. He said about the same amount. He currently has another girlfriend that he's living with.
Franklin Falco Oh wow...thanks very much for sharing. Seems like this was doomed from the beginning. Well if he wants to spend the same amount on the next wedding, its his wish if he has the money to splash, although its unnecessary wastage haha...but really he should figure out if the person he is marrying is really worth it. What shocks me is how this relationship actually made it to the altar and only lasted a month after that when it managed to survive longer before they had married lol...
Well, he goes to Disney World about once every six months and my Aunt drives to Atlantic City about three hours away once a month, not to mention the occasional cruises. I don't think that they have a huge debt but it's still always good to save more money instead.
My grandparents were married for 51 years. But sadly, my grandfather passed away yesterday at the age of 81 due to a massive heart attack. He breathed his last on my grandma's shoulder. It was so heartbreaking yet so pure. My heart goes out to everyone who lost their loved ones. It's difficult to move on, but remember, they are always with us showering their blessings.
One of the most amazing stories I heard was about 2 families who was visiting Disney World. Years later a happy married couple are going through eachothers family photo albums and to their disbelief..there was the husband in a stroller in the picture that was taken by the brides family of her in a stroller. In the picture was bride and groom @ the same place @ the same time 20 yrs. earlier. I wonder how many times that has happened to us in our lifetimes. Paths that cross...

My maternal great-grandmother and father
lived to celebrate their 75th wedding
Anniversary!! One of their kids, my grand-
mother threw a lavish party for them. They
both wore the clothes they were married
in to their party! That day, in the middle of
the celebration, my great-grandfather began
to feel unwell, and he went back home. Hours
later, his wife also went home - and she found
that he had died, and on the day he got married!
She went to live with my grandparents. She lived to be well over one hundred years old!
I do remember her, but I was only 5 or 6 years
old when she passed away. I just remember
passing her bedroom many times and seeing
her in bed. Now I think she might have had a
stroke, because she couldn't talk by the time
I first met her. But, yeah, she was happily
married for seventy-five years - still able
to slip into her wedding gown after she
had twelve children!

@Maximus Yagdulas It's not Incest Their parents sister or brother married someone and they become Their aunt or uncle dumbas*
stop trying to make it abut you
My parents were married 23 years but they were together for 28 years, not once did I ever see them fight.

Even though my parents argue every now and them, they are committed to their marriage, till death do them part
On the contrary, back then, it was common for couples to be wed off by arrangement or in the same year they got together. And not all marriages were as happy as this couple was.
What we’re looking at is a married couple that remained happy through the end. True love happens throughput the ages, but only now do people have the option to separate.
Ikr like they never divorced
People allow emotions to rule and dont take TILL DEATH due us part serious. God hates divorce(1st marriage is covenant anything else is adultery in Gods eyes) but divorce happens however God gives two options reconcile or stay single. Many will answer on judgement day for breaking covenant

@@suparttt the idea for the lightbulb was stolen to an extent. Button mapping on gamepads in modern day is stolen to an extent. People often “steal” or “plagiarise” jokes from other places that they have heard whether it be the internet or a parent. Most things today have been stolen from and you just need to accept that. You don’t need to point out the fact that it may be stolen. Besides, I didn’t see anybody else comment this and they might not have either. You really had no need to comment stolen under this just as I had no right to reply to you with some stupidly long paragraph simply because I’m annoyed by everybody who comments stolen but I don’t have much else to do with my life and just though I’d tell you something that could possibly help you in the future (probably won’t though).
Love so deeply connected they became as ONE. Lord willing, I want that kind of love.
I’m totally impressed of the love that they had for each other. Anyone would really wish to have a long and lasting love just like Dale’s and Alice’s. Their 83 years of marriage is proof enough that we could actually stay in love with someone for a long time.
They are both dead. So 81 years of marriage
They had GREAT brains for 99 year olds ❤️ I loved this 🙏🏼
During this interview, something really stuck out to me about what they have together, and what is probably a main ingredient to their long and happy marriage over 80 years; and seem to still be in love-and that something is laughter.

Wow really? Haha..why did they break up? And how much did that wedding cost lol
Franklin Falco i thought that title went to Kim Kardashian. 🤷🏾
Goosebumps! This is a wonderful story 😂
My grandparents have been together for about 53 so far and keep on going.
