- This is one of three cab rides i took on my last disneyland trip aboard engine #4 Ernest S. Marsh.
After i got a no from it being too hot, me not wearing close shoes and #2 E.P. Ripley having to blow down every lap. this was my first chance for a cab ride during the visit. taken august 5th 2014
#4 Ernest S. Marsh is a 1925 baldwin 0-4-0ST built in 1925 for a plantation in new jersey, later sold to the pine creek railroad and from there to disneyland in 1959 where she was converted to a 2-4-0 and got a cute 4 wheel tender(which i sat on). she was rebuilt at hillcrest shops
The whistle is her original, a 4 inch 3 chime powell

Sorry that the speedometer close up was shaky, the ride was very bumpy, there are no zoom ins in the other rides

I remember watching this video in 2016 when he saw that you really want to work at the railroa I also wanna work there too I love trains a lot
wow, time has changed alot since then, i realized that working for a railroad isn't as happy as it sounds. but doesn't mean i'm not a fan, might do it after i retire tho

Why do you talk to much?
And when I was on my first cab ride,I really didn't talk that much.
i was a bit hyped to ask them questions but there are rides i took with far more talking than this one which is relatively silent. i might be more silent in my 2017 "welcome back" tenderride. however i hope for holliday/ripley on that one however because of holliday's recent refurb and haven't been on ripley's seat for 8 years
The fireman, Edgar, seems like a jerk. He should have been more welcoming to you.
