From the imposing title to the incredibly cinematic opening, this is truly a groundbreaking video. I love how you strive to get scenery in along with the train. The tunnel scene was quite the spectacle!! What a sight!
Out of all the 2102 stuff I’m missing this is the one I’m the most sad about not going to. Awesome video Kurtis! 2102 sounded great and I’m looking forward to seeing later this year!
Such a beautiful 4-8-4 “Northern” in service. I’m going to be visiting the Roaring Camp & Big Trees Narrow Gauge Railroad in Felton, California on Saturday. It’s one of the two Roaring Camp Railroad train rides, the other is the Santa Cruz Big Trees & Pacific Railroad that goes to the beach boardwalk in Santa Cruz, California.
Thank you! It did stall on the grade before the shot with the tunnel, but the earlier rain played a big part of that. Made for an amazing show accelerating onto hometown hill
The road hasn't been the BMR&N since the last time 2102 ran in 1991. If you look at the tender and ALL 51 cars behind it, they almost all say "Reading & Northern."
They really did well! I know that Andy muller was the engineer for the day. I'm not sure who the fireman and the rest of the crew was but I would bet the Fredericksons were involved
Once 2100 is complete, you know they'll do it. I'd like to see both of them at Steamtown posed with 2124 even though that one's not running. It did get a very nice cosmetic restoration recently.

Thank you alex! I wanted to try something different with the scenery, turned out pretty good :)
Mr Muller sure isn't afraid to work his steamers. R&N puts on a show. Great shots, cheers from the great white north eh.

Wish you were there! Thanks for watching
Excellent videography, great locations and well edited. A pleasure to watch.
Thanks for watching!!
Hands down one of my favorite videos from 2102s freight run. Hats off to you kurtis!
I can't think of any superlatives to add. Excellent. Thank you!
Nicely done Kurt! 2102 is truly something special!
It really is. Thanks for watching!

I did it on Sunday, just a changed day plan.
Great video! Would not say she was struggling, but she was certainly working super hard. These are the things that engine as designed and built for!

Super video. AND, the cracking exhaust sound after the bearing check stop, SPECTACULAR. Thank you so much.
Sincerely, Erie Atlantic 7597.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching
I’ve never seen a steam engine pulling rotraries before! And the caboose just makes it even better!!
Very nice
Thank you!!
Impressive video. You have an artistic touch and it captures this magnificent train beautifully.
Thank you so much!
Wow! She got her paint!😊

New sub 👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👍👍👍
Thanks for watching! :)
Awesome! #2101 on a hopper train! I love it!
You mean 2102
2102 obviously performs flawlessly. What a tribute to the skilled steam mechanics of the BMR&N.
They do incredible work! Some of the friendliest crews around too
@@KurtisHooey We're so lucky to have this within our midst. I'd like to see UP's 4014 put to the test like this.

@@OldsVistaCruiser both work honestly. Over the radio the railroads call sign is still BMRN
@@KurtisHooey - I would think that the radio call sign would match their reporting mark of RBMN.
Crazy how UP hasn't done something like this with 4014
Agreed, its the largest operating steam locomotive in the world, it would be nice to see it do what it was designed to do
@@rem-so1ly They did pull freight with 3985. I've been waiting for the same thing with 4014.
It really is this simple though.
fantastic sounds! the crew runs that engine. could you post their names?thank you all.

She may be old but can still work hard
Don’t stop. Go on a tour!
2102 should reunite with 2100 or 2124.
They have plans in the future for 2102 and 2100 :)
