I regret not getting ATH's rear steel bumper. I passed because it wasn't tow rated. But your KK is pretty close to mine. I got full skids, and sliders with side bars from JCR Offroad (they don't make'em anymore). Just switched from BFG KO2's to Toyo AT tires. They are 30's and a little skinnier. I was rubbing the rear "flares" and was afraid I was going to rip them off. Got the Jeeping by Al (JBA) old man emu 1.5 lift but switching to roughcountry soon (2.5 life) as the old life system is getting a little tired. Great video and you are right. This little buggers don't get enough credit other than grocery getters in snow. Orig owner of my 09 and the life time warranty is still intact.
I LOVE doing it. I had low expectations with this Jeep bc the last time I was there, being in a fully locked rubicon, well, let’s just say I’ll never look down at the capabilities of a liberty again lol. I had a Lexus GX 460 I wanted to set up to overland with but never got around to it. My dream rig to set up is a ford excursion. That’s ultimately the route I wanna one day take.
I appreciate it! The bumpers are from a company called ATH (At The Helm). They don’t make the rear bumper or tire carrier anymore though unfortunately.
@@mitchellboyd9024 ATH made some great stuff for the KK back in the day. I have one of the original bumpers he put out, close to the one you see here but I got a receiver hitch option on the front and two tow shackle hookups. I have a 12k lb badlands winch I can slide into the front bumper or rear hitch to pull me out backwards if needed. Morgan, the owner now makes stuff for the Tundra more then the KK but still, if you can get the bumper, it basically attaches to the front "frame" of the Jeep with 6 bolts. It's very heavy so you really need to beef up the front. I think by the time I was done with the winch, bumper, sliders, skids and rear class III, I added close to 800lbs of extra steel. I also got a set of gutter mounts for lights near the side view mirrors. ATH makes those too. Almost got limited slip installed on the rear but my Jeep dealer that does lots of mods for jeepers said it would void my warranty. So, I left it alone. I didn't re-gear so you can understand my MPG sucks pretty bad. Now that I went to smaller tires, I'm getting like 11 city, 17 hwy.
Not entirely sure. It was on there when I bought the Jeep, but the upper control arms look exactly like the fabtech uppers. I’m thinking it was about a 2 inch lift though.
My 2012 Jeep Liberty jet is completely stocked with all season tires and I go on worst terrain in this I guess I got to start recording it I didn't know it was video Worthy
Bc it was my video on my channel. You wanna tow a Jeep behind your motorhome out to Moab and beat on it, you’re perfectly free to create that video with no music
Great video. Great job with the liberty! Felt proud for it. They are good little jeeps. I have 2

You should check out Rocky offroad they make the best lift for the Jeep Liberty and it's a a 3 inch lift I'll be buying one soon
Could you make a video about the mods on your jeep and where you got them?
That's my favorite pass time having been out in a long time. Be safe
Looks like you are all having a great time. Enjoy your vacation with your family

My liberty is very similar. 31” tires but 3” lift. Where did you get your bumpers. They look great. Really enjoyed your video in Colorado.

Where did you get the rear tire carrier?
They’re called ATH (At the helm) but it was already on it when I bought the Jeep. From my understanding they make strictly toyota bumpers now, though.
Where did you get your rear bumper?
It was on it when I bought that Jeep but the company was called “At the helm” ATH. They only make the front bumpers now and bumpers for Toyota’s now.
Great video !
Peter griffin’s back!
You know what really grinds my gears?!?
Yes sir cool video 👍
What suspension kit did you put on there?
Not entirely sure. It was on there when I bought the Jeep, but the upper control arms look exactly like the fabtech uppers. I’m thinking it was about a 2 inch lift though.
its selec trac or command trac?
Command trac

Why the music it ruins the video

Just turn down the sound.
