I love Taralee and support her. I always see you commenting on her Patreon videos and the support you give her is fantastic. Thank you for all your videos because between Tara and you I have learned quite a bit about cosmetic making.
@@tiffenydecoteau4037I can’t give a shelf life as these are experiments so they’ve not been tested. If you want to have a go at making it, you’d need to do your own tests to determine.
There’s too much scaremongering going around ingredients. When used in the correct percentage range there shouldn’t be an issue unless you are allergic. If you have concerns about particular ingredients then I suggest reading the manufacturer information as they will explain safe usage, purpose etc.

:) Always good to support other creators.
omg this was so sweet! 😭 thank you!
yours turned out so pretty 💜
So sweet to make this video for Tara! And thanks for mentioning an oil gelling agent, I’ve been very curious about those
Glad you found it useful :)
Love this video. Thanks for sharing
Hello thank you for the video. Is there a sub for silica? Possibly xanthan gum ?
Not without making an entirely new formula. You need something that gels oils. Xanthan gum is water soluble.
And does the oil melt the sugar eventually? How long can it sit out? Thanks again!
Sugar won’t melt in oil unless you maybe left it in a very hot place. Not sure what you mean by ‘sit out’ ?
@@revegacosmetics thank you for your response and I kind of meant sit out like shelf life lol

is there a natural substatute the silica powder
I've worked with sds before and it tends to have a kind of chalky feel, does that come through in this at all?
Not at all in this. It is mattifying so will likely feel a bit like that in other products.
Did it have separation days later? Silica never behaved for me .
There’s the tiniest bit of oil, but nothing I’d class as huge separation.
Worth playing with percentages to see if quantity makes a difference.
Where can i find the formula for this sugar scrub?
Mine is on my Patreon linked below the video.
Wait isn't silica harmful to use on skin
