Can you please help me get this Roku app without having to pay for it I did it and I canceled because it kept taking money out and now I can't get back on because they say my email is in use but I do not want to pay for this where did you find this app?
thanks for this. However I'm still getting just a blue screen. I can't seem to find out why ? my other tv works great . But can't seem to figure out why this tv with a new Roku I just bought won't get out of the blue screen.
I don't think you talk too fast at all, I think you were very well-paced. (personally I put it on x1.25!) I thought this video was overall very well done. A brisk pace is better, if you're following step-by-step then you'll be pausing and rewinding anyway no matter the speed, so thank you for be conscious of our time!

Sorry, there's something I still don't understand: what is this streaming stick for? That you can see e.g. facebook, RUclips or netflix from your laptop on the large TV screen?
Do you know how to turn on the Tv from Roku remote? Because right now i have to turn it from the Tv remote then I selecte the dhmi then I ues Roku remote also for sound ???
Dumb question, do you need a wifi TV to use this or is the stick itself what connects to your wifi? ********UPDATE: I asked a rep at Walmart and she said no. I bought Raku for Wifi and it worked. She said the wifi connection is through the usb or the remote.
Is my t.v. not "smart" enough? There are 2 that I was told fire stick won't work on, so the guys have it but I have only netflix on my small fire kindle. What does the t.v. need to "stream" any of the sticks? :-/
Who cares what everyone eles says i got you ! SPFT ! I watched a couple of videos and yours was exactly what I was looking for! You explained how to insert the stick in the back of my TV via outlet or USB perfectly KOODOS kid !
Sorry what I meant is if the HDMI port is deeply embedded in the TV then the exteber will help fit it in the tighter spot. In the video, neither cases (TV or projector) actually needed the extension
Roku devices are just a source for getting the apps and playing them on your tv's. Any service such as Netflix that costs money without the roku device will still cost money with it.
The one that I bought (amzn.to/2Px6ngI) did not. The only you would pay for after you buy it is any channel subscriptions. But there are plenty of channels that are free so you don't have to pay for anything post shipment if you don't want to.
I thought it was free!! Its telling me to fill out my Visa card and and address..I stay with my auntie she paying for internet etc..so why is it asking for a personal info? All I want RUclips!!
Be careful when setting up Roku. Do not add any channels as they will more likely end up charging you. I added channels that I thought were free, and ended up having to pay for more than I could afford in a lifetime! Now I have to starve at work. Just be careful! My suggestion is that you do not add anything while setting up Roku and then add channels later as you are more familiarized with the channels and know they are really free. To be safe, just remove your credit card from the account so they can not charge you without your knowing. Only add your credit card at the time of purchase, and then remove it from the account when the purchase is done. Follow these points and you can keep your lunch money.
The video is well done however after many years of teaching you have to slow down . People must be able to process the information as you go along. You did not pause once in the video. try it on your next production and see.
You can adjust the speed of video in the video setting (ie. 0.75, 0.5) speeds. For most people my speed of talking is fine so if you think I talk too fast then just adjust your playback speed
@@skyforce95 You dont even take a breath. There's many comments about your talk speed. I used .75 but still if you would like a career on RUclips you should listen to your Subscribers.
I'm thinking about getting a Roku stick, do you mind if I ask a few questions? How can I connect to the Roku network through a Kindle or laptop? Is it in my Wi-Fi settings? And will my Kindle or laptop still be connected to my Wi-Fi that I normally use? I'm guessing it would be. And do you know how/why I would get data usage fees?
WebkinzLiker264 It really as easy as this video explains, although if it’s too long, they supply an adapter, with a short cable, allowing it to hang down, rather than stick out. No Data charges, that I’m aware of, for viewing. Your Laptop is the best way, to set up your account. Once you’ve done that an assigned it a name, maybe your first name and its location. Like Fred living room. Or just a number, in the event you buy another Roku. Once you’ve set up, your TV screen will flash you four numbers, which you enter on your Laptop. Then that’s it, just add the channels you like. Plenty of suggestions I’m RUclips.

Thank you for being articulate and knowing how to present the important facts. Now I feel ready with more confidence.
What?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making this simple enough for me.
Thank you! I've been so terrified to try this. I've had my roku for a year, but you made this understandable.
Great tutorial, can you explain how to retrieve a four digit code? Had it written down I don't know what happened to it

Yes you do
Can you use mobile hotspot for the wifi? Instead of normal wifi?
Yes, but wouldn’t recommend it as video streaming uses up a lot data
Thank you so much for putting up this video! It was super helpful!

Good news! I have it all set up and just need the correct extension cord and surge protector!

No puedo conectarloa a la red, mi control no funciona. Como lo puedo configurar el Roku? Gracias
I just bought a ROKU streaming stick, and this video was very helpful. Thanks!
Sorry, why do I need a Roku account? Can't I simply plug and play?
The stick doesn’t have enough memory to save your preferred channels. So the Roku account is the means for doing so
Not just that. But it force you to link it to your credit or debit card. And she didnt mention it.😤
Thank U very m7ch 😱I'm gonna buy this now,oh and btw does it work on a tv that doesn't have cable or anything Example:("just the tv")
Awesome thank you!
the HDMI cord doesn’t work for me
Hwo do you get the WiFi password for the roku thing
AokplayerYT it’s the WiFi password you use regularly on your home internet
It's saying my email address isn't working but I don't have any more then the 2 I tried, this sucks.
Wow I don't understand because I cannot find a Roku app that does not make me pay please help
My remote doesn’t have a button
at last, someone who knows what to say and how to say it.

Okay so there's no subscription payment for Netflix and other stations??

I'm planning to buy a Roku is true that I have to pay $50 to activate?

I thought it was free!! Its telling me to fill out my Visa card and and address..I stay with my auntie she paying for internet etc..so why is it asking for a personal info? All I want RUclips!!
iamblackgambit it is free haha. It’s just asking for billing information so you don’t have to continuously type it in which is hard with a TV remote
Roku it will not start up after the update
Informative and helpful but slow own You talk very fast .
Holy cow Batman, this looks very complicated.
