Brilliant footage of the tour in Scotland in beautiful weather too! Very well caught and composed and loved the loco chase by car footage around 4.50? The locos did so well and looked fantastic! Best wishes. Ken
Yea it was tough trying to get that shot, took servaral attempts so was thankful for the amount of time the road follows the railway. Thanks for the kind words!
Bluebell-Railway Hawks. I can well understand how tough a task that was but you stuck with it and were well rewarded for your persistence! I've now etched all your GB XI vids and they are truly outstanding, well worth publishing as a DVD. Do you ever consider doing a DVD? Best wishes. Ken from Ayrshire in Scotland.
1:06 nice to see steam crossing the iconic Forth bridge! 4:58 this is the first video I've seen of someone chasing a British train on an adjacent road! I've chased Union Pacifc 844 on an adjacent road many times! 1264 is a great looking loco!
Impressive scenery, impressive engines and impressive footage! Thanks for posting looking forward to watching the run to Kyle of Localsh now. I managed to see Flying Scotsman on day one near York and the the wonderful British India Line 35018 on day two at Church Fenton. :D Teddy
WOW,WOW and WOW ! Absolutely fantastic videography :)
Tis a stirring sight to to see two steamers in fine fettle. Many thanks to those who maintain them.
They're stunning for sure!
Great video. Super train dumpflock

This is an incredible series of shots, the chase shot especially. I must say that B1 really looks the part. Well done and keep it up!
Thanks mate, the B1 was awesome for sure!
Superb video - especially the Forth Bridge shot.
May I ask - is the old gun emplacement at Carlingnose Point location you used on publicly accessible land, or do you need permisssion of a landowner?
Awesome!
Stunning, excellent work. Very well done. Thank you so very much.
Thank you!
Brilliant video Mate superb pacing. Enjoyable watching. Fantastic. Kind regards C&A

Fabulous video - many thanks! Was the 47 providing some traction at Drumochter, or just train power?

I can imagine you did I love chasing steam trains too:D I have managed to see all your footage now Thanks for posting :D
Great video Will as always, love the shot following from the car! :)
Thanks mate!
I like how there's a little house nestled among the girders of the bridge at 1:10. I suppose it must be for the maintenance crews.
I would presume so yes haha!
Nice one
Very nice video ;-)
Cheers!
Of course, there are three Forth bridges now aren't there. I wonder if we'll see a fourth Forth bridge.
That really takes the biscuit. Two steam locos up front and still there is a diesel on the back of a supposed steam special. How ridiculous.....
Diesel was just carrying its own weight, it was required for shunting at Inverness later on.
GREAT ROAD CHASE
Really great video. I've subscribed to your channel and would appreciate same. Thank you.
