Minecraft The Battle for Minas Tirith(LOTR)

From Return Of The King I give you one of the most epic battles of all time but in a new more blocky light.

This project was done on and off for a few months. The Minas Tirith build and made specially for it but unfortunately went missing so not available for download. Most of the Npcs were either LOTR mod mobs or custom Npcs with LOTR mod Armour.
I know the quality has much to be desired but I am just working off a laptop. My next project might be the Battle of the Five Armies so watch this space for more videos!

How did you do to hold them in the same position? And how did you do with the catapults? I really love your video

I used custom NPCs to get them to stand still and the "catapults" were custom npcs as well. I just made a tiny npc and used the projectiles option to make it look like a catapult.

Ya, your right. I used the custom npc mod for a lot of the formations. It gives you a lot more options for the troops. You can set paths for them to go on or adjust there attack distance. All round fantastic mod

In the books it's also said that they weren't right on random peaks of The White Mountains. There were 7 beacons placed on 7 hills along the northern edge of the mountains. The movie did it differently
