I've fixed split tubes on my machine before over the years - nearly 10! - but this leak had me beat. I had all but resigned to the fact that I'd have to get rid of it. Thanks to you I have just cleaned that bit and it's fixed again, thank you!
I just want to say thank you for this video, I followed your steps and it solved my water leakage problem by cleaning the chamber attached to the boiler - saved me from buying a new machine!
Great video - I fixed my Magnifica because you showed how to clean the flow meter. A small particle was inside, I removed it and the machine is running fine again! 😊😊😊😊😊
Milen Stoitsev, you rule! With your excellent video I managed to solve the leakage problems of my coffee machine. My machine was slightly different, all the main components were identical. If you are ever in the Netherlands I owe you a cup of coffee 😁
Watched all your videos and learned a lot about coffee machines' inner workings in general, therefore saved me a lot of money! THANKS, A MILLION! Thank you for trying so hard in English, you're doing a great job, would have been really hard to decipher it all from Russian! Thank you!
I have a similar model to this one. Water is leaking from exactly the same place. I took the panels off yesterday to take a look. I thought I'd never be able to fix this problem but thanks to Milen, our 8 year old Magnifica S is going to have a few more years in it. You are a star sir.
Your video safed my day, especially the part where you removed the heater/boiler. Had the leakage problem because of dirt in there after 9 years of good usage, too and was to stupid to remove that part, thank you ;-)!
I have just bought the ECAM250.33.TB magnifica smart and I have a leak from the left hand side, I removed the panels and found that the pipe for the steamer has split, trying to source a replacement now

Hi at 16:12 you can see a part at the top of the machine. Do you have a video addressing this part and potential O Ring replacement? I saw on another video that this was a part that could be causing water to drain to pan instead of making coffee. I do not have any leaks, but about a third of the water for the coffee ends up in the drain pan instead of coffee. Thank you for all your help!
Hi Milen, Thank you for this video! It gave me the courage to disassemble my DeLonghi Magnifica S and try to fix a problem with some water forming under the machine and the drip tray filling rather quickly. I thought there could be some leak inside but I couldn't find any. I changed the safety valve to see if this had any effect. I put it back together but the small pool of water still forms under the machine. What I noticed is that during making a coffee and then adding the milk with the hot water/steam device, there's a good quantity of water dripping to the drip tray. In particular there's much steam that is discharged to the tray. I think some of this steam wets outside the drip tray, then condenses and forms the pool of water under the machine. Can you or anyone else think what is the cause of this abnormal amount of water and steam is discharged? Thank you!
Great video of all the major components and helpful hints on disassembly. I, have an ECAM 250 33 which is a brilliant machine, however my steam wand cappuccino frother has lost pressure, steam comes out but not with enough pressure to create froth. Do you have a cure for this in video format or just the answer will do. With kind regards Will
Hello ! Great video to get an overview of what s inside... I need to clean my filter that is just before the flow pump... it s blocking the water to get inside, clearly... but do you know if this piece of plastic can be opened and then safely closed again? it looks cheap and fragile... not sure if it can be opened... looks like it is closed by brute force and that if I open it I ll destroy it... second question: any advice where I can buy spare part for delonghi machines? like such filter? cheers
When I opened everything like you said, I can see that half the water from the cleaning program is running directly in the leaking tray. Is that problem also solved with this cleaning the'labyrinth'?
Thanks for the excellent instruction but I still have a fault that I hope you can help with. I ran a descale and a week later I get no hot water/steam or coffee. There is a blockage somewhere after the boiler but before the hot water/steam mixer valve. The narrow gauge pipe from the boiler exit enters the top of the infuser assembly and comes back out through a black connector immediately behind it. Exit pipe is clear but how can I check the pathway in between? The infuser assembly is clean. Any hints? TIA.
Hi Milen, I like your video it's very informative, however from your explanations is not very clear WHY there is a leak to the drip tray. You only showed the symptoms and how to clean that canal. My machine drops water every time I make a coffee. I suspect that valve after the water pump. Do you have a better idea?
I have a problem where water is not getting to the coffee and is not rinsing either, so nothing coming out of the coffee dispenser, instead it is coming out into the drip tray on the left hand side. I have followed your video and stripped and cleaned the machine but it is still doing it. I have tested the machine as you advised whilst it was all open and I can not see the water travelling through any of the clear hoses, so I am assuming that it is there for dripping from the bottom of the steam valve but I do not know for sure. Any ideas which part might be at fault here? Thank you for taking the time to post video's like this they are a great help.

Just one question ... the coffee doesn't flow out but it drips out (also after cleaning). Is there a part that needs to be replaced maybe . The problem is in water pump. You have probably worn-out a little ball inside the mechanical part of the pump. Watch this: ruclips.net/video/DoO9ckyJ-rs/видео.html, or you can replace whole pump... I don't know , here in Poland you can buy that plastic ball with no problem... I'm not sure - maybe even ball for ASG weapon will work too - I don't know the diameter, so I'm not sure...
Ther's another possiblity - wrong adjusted cofee grinder, it can grind too fine and the pump is unable to pass the water through the cofee tablet, because it's too thick. ruclips.net/video/oXMU0tkZRUwI/видео.html . You have to keep that in mind that after cofee change, the grinder may need to be re-adjusted, because the settings depends on the size of beans. I bought different coffee then usually and I had the same issue that cofee drips-out drop by drop and after grinder re-adjustment it works corectly. After time the grinder also wears-out , so after some time it needs be re-adjusted too.
Hi there, I am sure that they make it so hard to clean the machine that customers will prefer to buy a new one after they try to repair it or that they have to pay somebody to repair it. My recommendation is to always use filtered water to avoid any future problems.
Great video, frankly I do not think these machines are made to repair, companies made them (screwed). A common user will throwm them to buy a new , sadly putting 200 screws is only intention to discourage the repair.
Thanks for video. But it didn't help my leaking issue. it took my time to disassemble and cleaning. Delonghi is a huge disappointment really. Never gonna buy any product again from this brand. What could be other problem for leak? everything looks normal inside the machine.

Hello. i had also same problem. Changing infuser group fixed my problem. You need to go service dealer. You should know, it's a bit expensive.
That was excellent! THANKS! What a poor design, and they keep making it this way for years!
good share, thanks
Great video, frankly I do not think these machines are made to repair, companies made them (screwed). A common user will throwm them to buy a new , sadly putting 200 screws is only intention to discourage the repair.
Thanks for video. But it didn't help my leaking issue. it took my time to disassemble and cleaning. Delonghi is a huge disappointment really. Never gonna buy any product again from this brand. What could be other problem for leak? everything looks normal inside the machine.
Ты бы по русски говарил бы уже .
Hi I have Magnifica Ecam working fine, but grinding only for 2 seconds and make weak coffee. I have replaced the sensor on the transmission but still the same problem. Also I changed the grinder but still the same. Do you know what could be ?
