You said it, Ryan! And these next few years will be even better. NJT is getting the ALP-46A's and ALP45-DP's on the way, and Amtrak is in the process of getting some new power! Can't wait!
No problem Kyle, looking forward to more. PS that is a great way of saying that railfans are helpful and not a threat. I think railroad employees understand that better than law enforcement. The funny thing is that there was track work going on nearby where we were, and some CSX workers in a highrail truck came by us. What did they do? They smiled and waved at us!
I wish Amtrak would tell us what power they're planning to get! I suspect they might be getting ALP-46s too since they're currently in production for NJT, but who knows. Whatever it is I hope it's good.
Awesome catch of the two P40BH's at the end of 7162! Now that's rare!! I wonder if they did that because they needed extra power at Sunnyside. But whatever the reason is, it's way more than rare!! 5 stars! Outstanding as always!!
Great video! The intro is also really well done. BTW I've seen people play on the tracks in a three track section of the NEC close to Boston. And yet I still get yelled at for filming when I'm a safe distance from the tracks.
Thanks so much, Matt! I appreciate it! And I know what ya mean -- I saw your new video, too. Unbelievable how some people can totally disregard the beautiful freedoms of our nation in claiming that they're trying to protect it. Stupidity + Arrogance = people who don't understand that railfans are beneficial to rail security, not a detriment to it. Thanks again, Matt!
Amtrak classified them as AMD-103 Genesis, GE classified them as Dash8-40BP (P40DC), and New Jersey Transit (current owner) classifies them as P40BH's.
Superb video, Kyle! Love that catch w/ the 2 P40BH's. Commented on that photo if you didn't notice. 5*, a favorite, and a channel post. Videos like these should be promoted, not crap like Fred.
Thanks very, very much! I'm going to guess the extra unit (4802) was going up for inspection. I have no idea though. But yeah, the alarm there is annoying. Although it's much more annoying in the video then in person, in my opinion. And also I thought that the Bombardier name was Comet VI, I'll have to research that for future reference. Thanks again!
Meanwhile I'm still wondering why the Comet 5 cars looks like something from the 70's or 80's. Especially compared to the older coaches it travels with which surprisingly looks newer than the comet 5's.
Wow, I am very honored to hear that my video was that enjoyable! Thanks very much for your kind comment, as well as your favorite! Thanks dude!
You gotta love the NEC. You NEVER know what you're gonna see.

Wow double diesel. That's Awsome. Nice video
Great video!!!!
Awesome shots!
Thanks!
Thanks Mike!
Good video as usual! :)
I see those a lot. I live on the Northeast corridor.
As always, another great video! I like the intro as well.
Thanks, Adam

passed the MMC tonight on a M&E train, the ACES set was there, with the 4803, but the 2nd unit was nowhere to be found
Thanks very much! I have no idea what the move was for (I'm assuming an inspection on the 4802), but rare it was! Thanks again so much !
Thanks very much!
Yup, and thanks!
great job on your video. Did you film any trains going to Atlantic City?
Great video my friend . Good job please continue these awesome videos and narrations. Have a great day
Great video! Awesome trains on the NEC! 5/5!
Great video! The intro is also really well done.

That's because your used to perfectly-tuned K5LA's on your darn Surfliners LOL! Thanks, Mike!
Neat video Kyle.
What is that loud ringing sound in the backround?
Great vid as always Kyle. You always do a nice job! 5* rate!
I like that intro! You should bring it back but with some new clips! Great video!

* * * * *!
Excellent video! 5/5.
Great Video I Enjoy Ur Footage From Hamilton

That's a good point! I'm not sure... thanks very much for watching!
@onealhart54 That's an Acela HHP-8
kyle, you gotta tell e when your going to hamilton next time, i wanna go with you
acela can go faster than that, and 927 is an AEM-7AC
Maybe 4802 went up for an inspection or something
The Pennsylvanian had an AEM-7AC? When does it change to diesel? In Philadelphia? Harrisburg?
Philidalphia
What do you mean?
I haven't ever seen new jersey transit AEM-7 running before. It also really stinks that Amtrak retired all of its AEM-7s. ;-(
NJT never had AEM-7’s they only had ALP-44’s.
Diego Arpino, That’s an ALP-44, not an AEM-7.
Wasn't the ace train canceled in a 1995?
Amtrak's "Atlantic City Express" operated from 1989 to 1995. New Jersey Transit's "Atlantic City Express Service"/ "ACES" operated from 2009 to 2011.
That warbler siren thing is a bit annoying, isn't it.
Look at those toasters fly!
I said the maximum speed through Hamilton, not the maximum speed in general. And they're all toasters to me LOL!
what is the loco at 4:35
That is an hhp-8. Those are retired from Amtrak and used on Maryland's MARC trains.
Will do, Tom, G, lol
That is probably the worst, most annoying, most unbearable alarm I have ever heard. Nice video!
Wow, that guy must be on drugs.
Wow double diesel. That's Awsome. Nice video
Thank you very much!
