Hi Sam!! We really enjoy your videos !! we just wanted to chime in as we just came home from a meal at brasserie Rosalie - such a pretty restaurant BUT we were extremely disappointed. Food was bad, the service was confusing as they got two of our orders wrong. The Produce was clearly not fresh, our steak was overcooked and tough, and the Bernaise sauce was obviously from a packet .. the bread was stale and the fries were unseasoned. Hope this helps some of your viewers as well. We will not go back!!

Hopefully! I mentioned it to a cast member there, too - so not really a surprise for them. I still recommend the restaurant for the food and setting, and hope the service gets better too :)
Sam, you never disappoint. What a class you are regarding the way you handled that poor service. My wife and I were both in the service industry for decades and I can say with almost 100% certainty that server never worked in a restaurant before. What should have happened was an apology and correction. It can be so daunting in the beginning. That is not an excuse by any means. Hopefully someone will retrain him then shadow him with someone who has experience. Thank you for the fabulous vlogs. We can't wait to plan our trip to Disneyland Paris.
Ahh thanks so much - very kind of you to say! Yes, sadly I never really got an apology even from the servicer himself. So whilst he was nice and friendly, he never seemed to acknowledge his mistakes. I really hope he improves and the overall quality of the service does, too!

incredible that you ordered the exact same things i did for my first time at Rosalie :'))) thankfully no issues with service, i went before the fireworks so i asked my waiter if i'd be back to the park on time and they did everything they could to make sure i was (and indeed, i was, despite ordering tea after dessert at the last minute LOL). this restaurant is SO good! shame about the lack of theme though.

I say this with all the love in the world, but just some creator to creator feedback, talking slightly slower would be better to watch for the entire video. Hi, I'm afraid I have no say in ride closures in DLP - most likely if they're closed it's due to renovations or technical problems. The official Disneyland Paris website should have the list of all closures :)
Wow, that is terrible, terrible service. McDonald's have greater service. I mean, the most basic things to a server must be to give the guest cutlery to eat with AND to get the right degree of doneness. Let's hope it was just that server cause the food seem amazing :O
Yeah, unfortunately the service was a big let down and one of the worst I've had anywhere :( But I hope I just got unlucky with my server, and that overall, the quality of service will be better. The food and setting made up for it! x

I understand the concept of not overly plating things that are not going to be eaten, like salade... but a plate with just a steak, without any charm, a sauce or jus or even some other things like simple roasted tomatoes... just the disney-vibe.... feels boring and not special enough to pay that amount of money
I was looking for myself, husband and 5 year old in the background shots. We were at Disneyland Paris from the 19-22, we arrived back in Australia the day before Christmas. Your vids helped me so much with our planning. We stayed at Newport Bay which was lovely, and had dinner one night at their buffet which was also great. We had lunch with the Princesses and got to meet, Cinderella, Suzy, Perla, Merida, Ariel which my daughter loved, the food was delicious as well! The only awful moment was when I was shouted at by a man working at the deli in Main Street. I’d picked up a sandwich on a shelf labelled Turkey, when I went to pay I saw pink meat sticking out and said to the cashier “ I don’t think that’s Turkey it looks like ham” he said yes it was ham and when I explained that I took it from a Shelf marked Turkey and couldn’t eat ham, he shouted “ Well you have to pay for it because you touched it” when I politely said that “ yes I touched it because it said he was turkey” he said “ the turkey ones are being cooked, you will pay for this one” I than said firmly “ I’m not paying for it, it was incorrectly labelled” I hate confrontation but I couldn’t pay for something when it wasn’t my fault. He then lectured me on having to throw it away. He went and got me a turkey one and as he gave it to me shouted “ next time you will pay, so don’t touch!” My poor daughter kept asking why the man shouted at me. I’m glad I was firm and refused to pay for something that was incorrectly labelled but it did put a bit of a downer on our last day. Everyone else was lovely.
It's such a shame that everything went so wrong, but thank you for your honest review, the food looked delicious and I'm definitely planning on trying the dinner menu in March, I'm thinking of trying the escargot, so hopefully if you're there again before me, I'll get to see them reviewed as well as 😂 merry Christmas Sam!
Wow Sam, the restaurant looks amazing & food sounds really delicious. Just hoping that the cast member was having one of those nights, I genuinely really feel for him. Maybe he was a little nervous & anxious ...hopefully he will settle into it and provide a more efficient service. Although, now hearing you speak at the end of the multitude of things he sadly got wrong, ( especially the steak to go plus other stuff etc ?? ) Oh dear. its quite alot isn't it ?! I wish cafe Mickey was still there why did they had to change it to a simple French restaurant where you don’t have characters playing with you especially when I watched that vlog of yours from July 2016 when Pluto was taking your Mickey Mouse band I think it was it was so cool now it’s just a French restaurant.
Yeah, I have so many fun memories from Cafe Mickey! Sadly, I think it's the American influence - they want to turn Disneyland Paris like the US parks x

Management should have done something in terms of compensation on the bill for this appalling service but then again came back a few days from a nightmare stay at Marvel where even getting an apology was hard. CMs definitely not on the same level as WDW and seems to be getting worse each year.
@@Sam4G0d 100% but then again 2 days before official opening they were still advertising for waiters online so I feel it ended up being rush hires with no training. Definitely not an excuse but if management was pushing for an opening date these are the results. I really want to try it next time. Keep up the amazing work.
when I went to the Remy restaurant, I asked for medium rare but they said they only do medium or well done. So I went with medium, but when it came out it was fully rare. Maybe it's a French thing 🤣
Oh no haha! Sorry you had that experience, too! But no, defo a mistake, as when I mentioned to the second cast member I'd order medium (a point), she was shocked and went to my original cast member "but this is bleu (rare)!" so there was no doubt it was a mistake. Medium in France is just a bit more bloody than other countries, but never rare :)
For anyone who is thinking of going here who are gluten free Please don't order the French onion soup it is marked on their allergy file that it is gluten free but it is NOT GLUTEN FREE.
