But its main branches that pointed upwards, have turned into full blown trees. It grows wild and natural on the edge of a small deer field. Like said "mother nature finds a way to survive!!"

I used to have a frog lure that was guaranteed to get a strike from any bass in the vicinity. Gentle twitches on the rod tip would make it kick. A big un broke my line and it was never seen again. I tried to find a replacement, but the newer ones just didn’t have the same fluidity of movement.
That toad was pretty lucky that your largemouth bass bonnie and clyde and outlaw the bluegill and other fish in your pond did not catch it but they will eventually I love hearing the frogs chirp spring peepers are my favorite
If you are going to get duck I would recommend form personal experience to get Saxony Ducks. They are a threatened species so it would be doing great help to the world and they are really good with kids and people. Side note they are great layers and brooders.
i hope that Bonnie and Clyde can Spawn, i would love to see some baby bass. the new pound looks good and i think the turtle's name should be (tom) and the Crawfish name can be named (Philip). the new pond looks great, i want to make a pound my self some time in the future. if you have seen this comment happy Easter.

when I was younger i had a fish tank and I had caught some crayfish for the first time in a creek nearby...I took them home and added them to the tank in my living room , which was down the hall from my room. this one day, I'm picking up clothes from my closet and I found the biggest one of those guys all chilling under a t shirt...definitely caught me off guard

That's really cool, but if it's their first time keeping a yard bird, wouldn't something non-threatened be a better place to start?
Also, they don't live out there and ducks are the gourmet choice of every predator in the food chain.
