Gerrit trucking had some of those truck after ww2. My grandfather drove then in mpls MN after he got out of the service. He always said no other truck could compare to it. He loved driving them over all the other manufacturers out there

I’m thankful that he saw it, bought it and tried to keep some of the history and originality alive. Small block Chevy, well, those engines are popular, easy to get parts for and such. Sweet ride. I love seeing old iron out on the road...where they belong! 🥰
Ya all that money building a beautiful machine just to put the worlds most generic boring kit car motor in there, should have a Coyote a new 7.3 or a cool vintage flattie even a cool Hemi , chebbie just too "bin there done that"

Great truck- wonderful color and execution! Scottie, and all; Chip Foose's first entry in the AMBR was a 1940 Ford Panel Sedan- chopped about 3" at the W/S and a little less at the back , fenders peaked and 37 Ford headlights set into the fenders- and a Sunrise kinda paint job that blew you away; he couldn't win the Most Beautiful Roadster Trophy; but he did take most of the rest! Good luck- Trucks are good to first timers at AMBR. I believe it was called the Alien. It will be a great show- the very best in the business and some of the most talented home builders make it so much.
WOW, very nice build. The color, interior and dimensions are spot on. I am personally not too keen on the choice of rims but it ain't my truck. GREAT JOB, TWO THUMBS UP!!!!

I would take this over any Bugatti or lambo any day so unique and that color WOW I'm sure it cost as much as a lambo lol great work I cant imagine the time money and fabrication

Glade he show the before truck they did an amazing job on this cab over saved it from just rusting out hope he uses this truck for what it is. Like KC said at the SEMA show get a good look take picture's because after this show this truck is going to get driven ever day driver.
