Thanks for posting this, I'm running a Jeskai humans deck that happened to have a very similar shell (skrelv, get lost, lightning strike and counterspell slots almost identical quantities) and having someone do something with a similar mana base and creature focused is a great sanity check. Awesome to see angels in these colors!
Looking forward to your mondrak copy tokens deck played against you the other day when you played it. Was very interesting synergy wanted to see it pop off but when I played atraxa you scooped would have loved to have it played out to see you go wild. Was awesome playing against one of the content creators I like to watch cheers hgg till next time
i'm only done the first match but had to comment - well done good sir! That was the most satisfying match I've seen in a long time lmao. Classic aggro too lazy to read cards, just mindlessly vomiting their hand and swinging over and over. I might have to build this
No way the matchmaker/shuffler isn't rigged. Stuck in diamond, if I play mono black I'm put against 80% artifact/synthesizer decks making go for the throat worthless. If I choose a deck running brotherhoods end, I'll NEVER see artifacts. I'm either flooded or starved in decks with 25 lands I'll play 3 in a row where I don't get a land 6 turns in a row somehow. But somehow in Mythic you get boros convoke that doesn't read cards, it's insane. I feel like I have to play against pros that get perfect draws and hit every land each match.
Got my tinfoil hat on too, brother. Went 1-8 last night. 2 of I felt were genuine losses. I was either mana screwed, didnt draw my payoff cards (was ripping through my deck), or got perfect ko’d by the opponent. I was eventually playing as an experiment lol 😢 Funny enough, my one win I STARTCHED my opponent, go figure 🤷🏼♂️ Started tilting and decided to take a break from arena.
I just call it hard mode. You don't pay arena enough? you get to play on hard mode. Honestly it teaches you not to make mistakes and how to get even digital opponents to make mistakes. I absolutely wrek it now, when I get the oportunity to play paper magic.
