    This is fantastic news, I got these awhile ago and ended up shelving them. Just got an old V-drum kit and needed headphones.

    When you said $30 my jaw dropped. This is the first video I've watched on this topic and I was expecting you to come in with "These are affordable, about $200" 😂

    Following Demonic Sweaters on Spotify now. Thanks for sharing what you use headphones-wise. I saw this brand just yesterday and might've passed on them if you hadn't thrown the recommendation up there. I'm checking them out now. I assume since you wear glasses, you don't have any issue with undue pressure? Also, how has no one commented on the Mac Tonight shirt?! Awesome.

      Thanks so much man! No issues with my glasses at least. Hope you like the headphones!

      @@demonicsweaters Oh yeah, the classics 7506. Those were my other option cause they are really flat but I wanted a mix between flat and easy listening headphones. And I hate the ear pads on the 7056 and I love that the 770 cover all my ear and have velour earpads

    These sound good. I find the ones I got don't isolate me enough from the sound of me hitting the rubber hi-hat and bass drum (especially with the protective sticker they recommended me put on there). I feel like they don't get loud enough either - I have my Simmons SD1250 module volume on 10 on both the master and the headphone volume. They headphones I got are a studio monitor kind with 250 Ohms or something... does that mean they have a lot of resistance? I'm not an electrical engineer, obviously. Just curious. (my headphones are the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pros)

      @demonicsweaters  6 месяцев назад +1

      Higher ohms means higher resistance. So yes, higher ohm headphones will be quieter than lower ones, generally. However the type and size of driver inside the headphones, placement in proximity to the ear, all have an effect on the perception of volume.

    Mmm. A little late. I got BeyerDynamics DT 770 Pro 32 ohms. My most expensive headphones to date. Why do you have so many ? Do you break them a lot ? What is your preferred headphones for mixing ?

      I just wanted the different colors. I like Sonys for mixing, I mention them in the vid and there’s a link in the description.

      No, these are a step below that model. I haven't tried the Pro-50s, but they look great.

    Oneodio is what I use. The headphones rumble pretty bad with my simmons SD1250 when I use kick or toms. Any ideas to fix?

    Actually ! I’m not a fan of low budget headphones BUT no lies detected here yall ! When I first got into edrums I was balling on a tight budget and I caught these on sale for about $17 on Amazon. I started with a closed back pair for a little more sound isolation and it’s been about maybe 3 years now and they STILL sound great ! I’ve had them blasted full volume forever and they haven’t gone down in quality at all. If you can’t afford any of the high end headphones these are your best option. They really are super underrated. I own a few different high end brands and these sound better than a few of those. Great recommendation! This is subjective but I own a pair of the regular and the closed back and I find the closed back option to actually have even better quality than the standard. Either way you can’t go wrong with these. I keep a pair of Odios and AudioTechnica headphones at the kit.
