  • In this video I replace the door hinge pins and bushings on the drivers door of my 2004 Ford Crown Victoria.
Here is the pin kit I purchased: a.co/d/ikUapx0

Thank you for posting this with the link to the kit. My '05 needs the same thing on the driver's door. These old police cars have the driver's door opened and closed who knows how many times during their fleet service. The kit is very reasonably priced as well. I also added the new striker piece too. 👍

Awesome! Good luck! It's been so much nicer since replacing the pins, the door shuts with ease now.

Just changed the pins in my hinges with the help of your video (and I even ordered the same kit to be sure). Great video, thanks for making it so easy!!

Looks like you got a snug fit with the silver bushings; did you consider trying the brass ones? It looks like they are 1mm oversize, nice that they include both in the kit

The brass were oversized. If the pins had worn through the old bushings and worn in to the metal hinge then they would have been good to over-size the hinge holes and use instead.

I see whatbu mean about having to drill the doorman’s but all you need to do is pop it in the freezer for a day and it pops right in

You can't replace the pin and bushings without removing the entire hinge??? My pin fell out!
