If you put the speed of your song at 0.75x, it makes you see a 2007 first person shooter zombie game in your mind at the sequence where you get chased by a horde of zombies through a long hallway in an underground military research laboratory base. You ran through it while the zombies catch up you, and you fired your guns until they're out of ammo. You ran, more obstacles came and at the distance, you see an elevator. You ran to the elevator and quickly go to the rescue extraction point at the surface. As the military came, the zombies breaked out of the lab and they start to go back up the surface, however when they step out of the elevator to the extraction point, a huge zombie brute came and crushed the other zombies to death. The zombie brute betrays the zombies and the zombie brute would carry you to the rescue helicopter. Then, when the helicopter was flying to the safe bunker zone, you see helicopter zombies. They fire the helicopter guns at the rescue copter, and you fired the RPG with the last ammo you had.
This heavily reminds me of one level that actually brings you here guranteed. You wake up locked on a hospital bed being pushed by medical staff through a hallway. Although the hallway it is infinite, when you finally realise you are still in the backrooms, the medical staff reveals to be a faceling and you are unlocked from the bed, you are now in level !, RUN.
This fits the tone of the level. Running for your life. Honestly this is a pretty sick remix and also sounds kinda like a final boss theme In a 16 bit game
I think this song incapsulates the feeling of stress. You have your own problem( The entities) but also the whole world crashing in and you've done this by making it so compact and full making it tense and stressful. Very good job!

There's always people saying "OH PLEASE THIS NOT CANON I LIKE BACKROOMS WHEN IT WAS ONLY LEVEL 01!1!!1!1" But they don't realize, 4chan said that anything could possibly happen in the backrooms including reality altering, different environments etc. + The backrooms fandom was the first ever wiki to ever exist and I'm a fan for the backrooms for over 3 years by now. But Kane Pixels made it popular but people don't know much about the ACTUAL backrooms rather than Kane pixels backrooms which is extremely irritating.

I absolutely LOVE this soundtrack! It really captures the feeling of running for your life and dodging these Entities and obstacles obstructing your escape of this Level. The alarms really make it even more intense, and near the end of the song, it's making it very clear you're at the exit, the final stretch, one last deadly task before you go back to a safer Level or place. For real man, I love these soundtracks you make. I love all the soundtracks you make for The Backrooms, it really feels like you have a connection with any Level's theme. Now don't mind me, just gonna listen to this song on loop for like 3 hours.

I can see the old one more fitting when you are not being chased by anything and this more intense version starting to play the moment you do get spotted.

You keep at looking at the amount of obstacles and hospital beds. Fake exits showing left and right and slowly losing sanity. You think it can't get any worse until you hear this music. Also for some reason the background kind of reminds me a little bit about the roblox version of level ! with the lights going darker then going back to pure red again before ending off with bright light signifying the end.

Any retro song is awesome and this is really great! I love the glitchy feeling to it and the little animation of the guy running. It makes me feel like that you are just saying, "Oh crap I gotta RUN!" Simple as it is... the retro is really good!
