Why does one guy surviving mean a god must have been looking after him and the other persons, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, is not gods fault? I can never understand why when a child falls out of a window and survives means “isn’t god great?” But that god could easily have made the window screen stronger or have the Mom glance over? But that god just watched the baby fall and contact the ground breaking bones etc and then at the last second, that god saved the baby from save death? Or after an accident that kills both parents and some siblings but one child survived, believers say “that was God’s blessing on that child”. How is a blessing to lose your family? Why did the god not any to save the other family members? Why didn’t that god just have them stop at a gas station and miss the whole accident? It’s funny how God’s work always looks the same as luck or random chance.
