Bad Rumor returned to the BHW (Buchanan House Winery) for the third time on Saturday, 9-7-2024. We played from 6:30 - 9:30. We played 23 tunes and none were new - they were all played by us at previous gigs. Some tunes, such as Texas Flood and Stuck in the Middle have been played at each and every gig that we have played while other tunes, such as House of the Rising Sun was only recently added and played for the third time. From my perspective as the drummer, I know there are tunes that I played better than others. For example, if you're paying attention, I sometimes attempt to strike a phantom cymbal - meaning, there's no cymbal to strike! Wipeout was okay on this night, following the same basic pattern that I've played previously. I am happy with how we played. The weather was great and while others were wearing long sleeves, I didn't need to because of the energy I was pushing out of my body as I played drums. I look forward to our return to the BHW in the future!
