There you shown a dimension as "dia 150 (basic size) and its tolerance limits from +0.02 to +0.04" So its result is "actual size tolerance limit 150.002 to 150.004". If a shaft is made with dia 150mm is acceptable or not? Because acceptable tolerance limit you as "150.002 to 150.004" But I made a shaft with dia 150mm. Kindly clarify it sir? Dear Mohamed, 1. we will use Datum for geometrical tolerance. 2. Some times we out tolerance value next to dimension. 3. Keeping these tolerance next to dimension depends on the company's GD&t standard. 4. Some times these tolerance value will be indicated by number of decimals in dimension, this another way of keeping tolerance indirectly.
