I was unsatisfied with all the other scores I could find online as they all seemed to be arranged in a highly messy and unintuitive way (using 4/4 and labelling most notes as triplets instead of just using 9/8) as well as lacking a number of elements which I felt made it lose much of the original song's spirit and energy especially during the climax before the jazz part. I unfortunately do not have relative pitch as of now so I mostly copied the notes from these other scores but I also added a lot of original ones (stuff I could hear in the song but were not translated into any other score or arrangement); most notably during the big climax before the jazz part.
this is the best arrangement of the song I found on youtube
This is so good! I was getting stressed out looking for tutorials of this song, as none of the videos I found sounded quite right. Amazing arrangement!
I think a good think to do would be to maybe space out some of the notes a bit more so it doesn't sound so robotic, because we as humans like things that sound human, and complete perfection like this just doesn't sound good to people. Either way this is still a great arrangement, I just think it could benefit from sounding just a bit more human.
it's just a midi reading, ofc it sounds that way. this video wasnt intending to provide an interpretation of the score. that's not people's goals when uploading videos like this, it's just to showcase or demonstrate the arrangement.

yo wassup
do you think you could put a download to the midi file for this somewhere?
i'll upload it later and comment it here
what are you gonna do with it
@@TheElectricCheeseProductions22 thank you so much! i dont know how to read sheet music, and i can use synthesia to learn and practice without needing the sheets. sidenote; genuinely fantastic arrangement! i was disappointed that all the others i could find were meant for a piano solo, so i was extremely grateful to find one that could go along with vocals!
@@cameronbzee thanks. i try to make my arrangement actually capture the energy of the song. that's the fun in making a solo piano arrangement of something is trying translate something involving a lot of different sounds within the bounds of not only the keyboard but the physical constraints of two working hands. the reward is the power of performing it yourself
@TheElectricCheeseProductions22 i agree! and I think you did a very good job at that!
What piano font do you use?
Get me a midi ASTAT.
