The bulkheads definitely are Gary but overall this build looks easier. The Hoods bridge needed a lot of modification, then there was rebuilding the funnels plus the after defense position. The Bismarck is a much tidier superstructure overall.
Hi Steve. Love the show. I know you've been asked before about what brand of the CA thin glue you use for photo etching, but can't remember which video you mention it on. Just wondered if you could give it another shout out on your next video? Or if anyone does know, mention it on this page.CHEERS.
Hi Steve, great progress, now you have most of the AA armament covered already. Great work as always. It is quite a challenge to get the twin mount barrels aligned properly and yours just look perfect in the shots at the end of the video. Was good to hear that I am not the only one ending up with more glue on my fingers than on the model. BTW did you receive the small information package I sent to your channel email last week?
Another fascinating build Steve. Watching with interest. I notice that you have two sets of ducting to the outside…Have you got a main paint booth and a smaller one for detail? Best regards Geoff.
Thank you👍 no the RH duct is from the spray booth but the LH one is from a small box down on the back bench. I decant blobs of CA into bottle tops when I’m doing a lot of photoetch work and this extracts the fumes. Otherwise the fumes are an irritant and I get a runny nose and sneezing. it’s not a problem when using CA out of a bottle but I can’t always do that.
You pre building a couple before videoing the process is what i like most about the video series.invaluable
Yes thanks Jerry I’m glad it helps
Great job Steve.
Thank you👍
Lovely farmyard sounds on this episode❤️
I liked that too Alison 21:49 👍
Thanks great work. Looking great
Thanks Rich 👍
Details are staggering Steve, compared to the hood Bismarck looks like a lot more work
