    To further explanation the destruction in Joplin, when the weather channel team arrived meteorologist Mike Bettes broke down in tears live on the air as he looked around the area

    There is an open lot in Moore, OK where 2 EF 5 tornadoes crossed paths, just years apart. Also, the El Reno tornado in Oklahoma on May 31, 2013 was insane. It had wind speeds in excess of 313 mph (504 km/) and was the widest tornado at 2.6 miles wide or 4.2 km.

    Yes I have seen both Twister and Twisters movies. I must say that the original Twister was better and had a better story to it than Twisters. Twister was made in 1996 not 1966 which was just a slip of the tongue. He knows it was 1996. Special effects were also very good for the time as well.

    • @pacmon5285

      I agree. The original is much better. The new one was at least not 'bad'.

    In an f5, the only safe place is underground, or under the LORDS protection.

    Until this child gets a degree in construction and or architecture I don't think he should be deciding what was or wasn't a " well built " or " poorly built" . Building he needs to shut TF up.

      Engineering*. There's a difference in knowing how to build a house to standard vs understanding exactly how it holds up under extreme wind loads

    • @CherylVogler
      @CherylVogler 19 дней назад

      A lot of Brits seem to think that if we built our houses "properly", of bricks and stone like most of theirs are, instead of "poorly built", or "made of flimsy sticks", etc. that they wouldn't be damaged or destroyed by tornadoes. They are pretty ignorant of our weather conditions and that destructive winds don't care what something is made of! I have heard these and similar comments from several other British reactors.
