Developed a lot of respect for Shmee lately. The man drives his cars hard, and a drives them a lot. Also has crazy work ethic, but I just can't watch a full video of his, there's almost too much content that goes on for too long.

A lot of people underestimate the amount od work that has to be put in to make some quality content. It would be so cool to see behind the scenes of seen through glass to see the editing, setting up the cameras, planning shots etc.

He isn't a bad driver but he never has really gone near the limits. When he does road trips with guys like Sam, James and Paul, Shmee is the one who doesn't properly enjoy the roads. Everyone else are driving harder etc. I don't want to start a fight here, but he isn't really that great. He has a race lisence etc. but seriously it isn't that hard to get unless you are an absolute crap driver
teamracing07 I think Shmee is a ‘by the book kind of guy’ - he keeps within the rules, he likes to plan and know everything is safe. He doesn’t get a buzz by being on the limit on pushing his luck - it’s just his nature. Each to there own.

Agree as well! Always followed his channel, but feels quite "formal", when he's around the others he comes across a lot more relaxed.
These types of videos is what I like best. Collaborative videos with other car youtubers doing actual car content. What would be best is a Ring run with James in his Speciale, Tony with his GT3RS, Tim’s Ford GT, etc.

I got chills while seeing Shmee drive while having a laugh of Sam's reaction on his first time on the Nurbruging. The sound of the GT3 is pure symphony and the green color pops out (But I like Mr JWW's miami blue GT3 better). Great collab between you two. I miss Shmee, Sam and other youtubers do roadtrips and challenges together.
I hope that someday, you will all do roadtrips together again.

Why do people keep implying he doesn't drive cars hard? There must be at least 20 videos with him driving fast round a track. He's been 200mph plus on Autobahns. Countless videos
Don't really get this. Out of pretty much all car RUclipsrs, Shmee is the one I see pushing his cars the hardest.
Tim has a massive amount of videos of him pushing ALL his cars to the max, but he just does it in controlled environments. He explained once that he doesn't see the sense in acting up in the streets with the cars, because the risks are too high (he lived in London then), so when he goes on track he gives them all they got. He actually uses his cars unlike many other youtubers.

That was my favourite STG or Schmee video ever! Music was ace, Tim’s driving looked good, car is ace, sounded fantastic, and loved the two camera angles!! Sam’s excitement was great!

This was pretty awesome, that GT3 is such a weapon, sounds so good, and you can tell Tim has gotten some laps under his belt. Speaking of racing games, if you wanna get an even more realistic experience, Assetto Corsa is a good choice, over 25 Porsche's (and Ferrari's and other cars ofc.. 150+ cars) in that game to play with and a very accurate version of the Nurburgring... I'd probably feel fairly at home over there, I recognize every corner now. I'd still crap my pants going around there but not much would surprise me, maybe the G forces and all that ofc... Assetto Corsa is more aimed at realism then Forza is, they try to make it as real as it can be and succeeds...

RainbowPixelationGaming IMO Assetto Corsa is definitely more realistic but even though I have done more than 300 laps on it, it still can‘t give you the exact impressions and fear factor of the real Ring. If you want to get the most out of a simulator, I would recommend to double-check your FOV settings (the first thing I changed after my first real life lap). You usually have to go quite close to the steering wheel (zoomed-in) to get the vision like in the real car, but you can look up your correct FOV settings in google ;)
+the elevation changes can only be emphasized in a appropriate way by lapping the ring with a bicycle or by foot ;D
