Clean ass high taper. Some high tapers do be lookin way too high. Love the detail you give in your voice over to the specific brand of guard and everything

Man I fight with my barber on EVERY SINGLE damn cut on getting my line up right! My right-side corner is thinner and doesn't fill in as full as the left side. But he steadily pushes that thin side back further each time! It's almost embarrassing to me to have to keep telling him every single time I sit in his chair not to push the right side of my hair line back. Then somewhere along the way during the cut, he seems to have forgotten what I said and does it anyway. Shit really pisses me off. I ask for something I think is simple, yet he seems to make it hard. And I really hate paying for a haircut then having to go home just to break out with my clippers and do correction work. SMDH.

It’s a nice cut though there is still weight lines in the blend. As a barber you want to make sure your blend is smooth in the transitions that makes it breaks a blend. Also I do a soft line before blending to help see the imperfections in the blend.

Always make sure their head is straight. If they start leaning straighten them up. Take a step back often so you can see the full picture too. 4thken probably knows more too

Crispy! 🔥. Loved how you resisted the urge to push his side neck lineup in! Question: why did you take off like 1/4 inch of his hair in the front lineup? Especially since you used enhancements anyway, I’m thinking you could’ve lined him up right on the front edge and used enhancements to fill in any light spots. I’ve never cut hair before so I’m legit asking. Regardless, clean crispy high taper!
I cut his front hairline down so that the hairline will have longevity, this way when he showers and the enhancements come out his hairline will be laid and will grow back perfectly , Look at how he came in, Notice how his hairline is still laid down nicely from his last haircut

@@the4thken thanks for responding. My bad, I asked the wrong question. I meant to ask, when you started to line him in the front, 9:56 why didn’t you line him right on the edge? At 10:09 you can see where where you were lining him up is much higher than the rest of his already straight hairline. I don’t want to say pushed back, but that’s what it looked like to me when you “chipped” at the front line.
@@micahoneal2289 Bangs, When dealing with a looser curl pattern, Your bound to have bangs, Some clients want them some clients don’t, In this case I lined him at his true hairline mark. Even tho i tapered it before the shape up, I tapered it with a 3.5 Which still leaves the bangs there, And i grazed it. Then I proceeded with the shapeup. It looks like a pushback, Which it is but its a natural/acceptable pushback, Every shape up is a pushback, Otherwise we’d be shaping up baby hairs and the shape up wouldnt be noticeable
