This was very helpful until you got to the Commit section. I'm not seeing anything you did with the Commit. I recreated what you did (I think) by listening and trying to do the steps. Eventually got it all to work. I think you forgot to capture the dialog boxes and windows that open. But this did help.
Lots of good info, lacking structure and/or flow. Get a whiteboard, write down the steps, associate each snippet to a function on the whiteboard. a to b to c to d.
