When I was born my appa got his posting as an officer in Rail ways. Till my marriage half of my life was spent travelling in Railways, so nostalgic, feel like crying. Remembered childhood carefree days

I love trains soooo much that it's my literal hobby just to wander in Mumbai local trains without actually having any work at destination! I just do return trips whenever I'm bored and alone. Sometimes I used to do this after bunking clg lol. Instead of going home I used to travel in train. This all, of course in non peak hours of Mumbai locals. :P

Train bahut awaaz karti hai. To engineers ne socha ki agar awaaz hoti hi hai to usko hum rhythm me hone denge. And I guess that's how they came up with this... So tranquil.... To me, no modes of travelling compares to a long distance train journey, esp the night times. 🙂
There is a small gap between rail lines for thermal expansion. When wheels moves over them it makes sound. It is rhythmic because rail lines are in equal length.
