I'm a bit late viewing this video; but these recipes look fabulously yummy. I just love your channel. I appreciate you sharing recipes that are elevated in taste but easy prep and normal ingredients. Blessings to you and your family from Missouri 😃♥️😊♥️
OLYMPIA, Washington State salutes You ANG…..Yep we’re not called the EVERGREEN STATE for naught…..still feeding family at a Happy Ager 73 and so appreciate your approach to meal making…..
Hey I just found you today and I’m from oregon as well from McMinnville and Sheridan. I love the rain and I agree cooking and baking on a rainy day is the best. So glad I found you.
Because of you, (thank you), I bought one of those microwave pasta containers and I will never go back to boiling pasta. The Fasta Pasta is easy to use and quick to clean. Perfect for 2 people! I am going to make the chocolate chip cookie bars! I just made a similar white chicken chili. It is a great, cozy meal!
Thank you Ang for another great week of recipes. Would you consider Christmas appetizers and simple Christmas cookie recipes. You have a blessed week also!
I just found you today too. I am from Wisconsin and I agree. I like to bake and cook on rainy days your recipes look wonderful I should be watching you are welcome.
Hi Ang, love your videos and your recipes! Was wondering if I could somehow make your Mexican lasagna without the meat? Perhaps adding black beans? I don't mind the refried beans, just don't do any meat at all. Thanks so much for all you do! ❤
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy the recipes. You could definitely add a hearty bean in place of the beef or maybe throw in sautéed veggies like carrots or mushrooms. You could also add 1/2 cup of "cooked" rice. I hope that helps! Let me know how it turns out with your changes. 😍
I planned on making the Mexican Lasagna for company next weekend. My guests just let me know they have an allergy to legumes (beans). What would you suggest to thicken the sauce? More meat? Less sauce? Now that I have watched this twice, I may just make it for our family another night if I cannot think of a solution. Looks absolutely delicious! Thanks for any help you could offer! Smiles, Abby Smith
Shoot! 🤔 I can’t think of anything else that would replace that flavor and the creaminess it has to offer. Pumpkin purée might work but will definitely change the flavor. I would recommend experimenting with other ingredients when it’s just your family. i’m kind of intrigued about the pumpkin though. 😃
@@themenumaid Thank you for your quick reply! We get together annually for an autumn meal so I think I will try your original version this week and experiment with some alterations in preparation for next year!
Hi Ang! I can hardly wait to try the Mexican Lasagna. And I'm sold on that Fasta Pasta. So thanks for telling us about it. Does it actually hold all 9 lasagna noodles?
Of course - it will taste soooo much better to you if you don`t like Olives. I do love cold olives, but I am not a big fan of cooking with them. Everything I cooked again without them tasted better to me. Every recipie in cooking (not baking) can be adjusted to your taste. Be brave.😊🙃😊
I'm re-watching this video! I love the simplicity of your recipes and the they way you demonstrate.

You're welcome! Yes! I do have plans to do Christmas type apps and probably some shorts for cookie recipes. I'm not a fancy cookie baker. 😆

Hi Helen! Thank you for taking the time to say hi! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully found something yummy to try. Take care!
I used todo the cookie bars when my kids were little. They’re a heck of a lot easier than cookies!! Love to see these included in your recipes!!!!

I bet a packet of taco seasoning would be good in your Mexican lasagna sauce.
That would be fun! I would suggest using the low-sodium as it might be too salty otherwise, but I like the way you're thinking!😀
Mexican Lasagna is now going to be a staple in my house. My husband is gonna love it.
I find that guys in particular love the lasagna. ☺
Here in Arizona our seasons are hot, hotter, hottest. I haven’t seen rain in two years! 😂😮
Yikes! Well these are delicious no matter the weather. ☺
Just found your channel! I subscribe,I'm from Oregon and love your recipes ❤they look amazing !! It's always great to find new recipes!
I'm so glad you're here! Thanks for saying hi and I hope you enjoy the recipes. ☺
Hi Ang - it's actually raining here in Spokane Washington - love your recipes ❤ btw - OSU alumni here 😊
Well perfect timing then! Lots of rain here today as well. A handful of my friends went to OSU!
Oven ready lasagna noodles work great, no boiling. Just put them in dry.
Thanks for the tip!
I would definitely add more cheese and I would use Crema and jalapeno😅(to the lasagna.
Love it! Do it! 😋

Oh, I hope you enjoy it! Yes! All 9 noodles. The Fasta Pasta has directions specifically for 9. It works great!
@@themenumaid Thank you! BTW, I love your channel!
🎉
Hi Ang! I’m not a big fan of olives….do you think if I left them out of the Mexican lasagna it would affect the taste very much? Thank you! 🩷🌸
Nope! It won't change the flavor at all! My bestie leaves them out when she makes this lasagna. 😉
