People keep saying this dumb crap! 🙄 The same goes for Star Wars after Prequel and Sequel Trilogy, yet it is still an extremely popular and beloved IP. Any good IP with amazing quality writing can make a comeback.
A show that has so many dragons should be ending in senseless mass murder greater than in GoT. Don't expect rationalizations of why some pokemon dragons are worth keeping in the show than others.

The great thing about HOTD is that Fire and Blood is a “here say” story. It was written by Maesters, Septons, etc years or decades after the fact. So there are alot of unanswered questions, and disagreements about what happened in those past ages. So it gives the writers a lot more creative liberty and wiggle room with the story then the GOT books did.
You know what’s funny? BECAUSE I watched Call The Midwife, the birth scenes are even worse here in HOTD. Like, something such as a breeched birth is readily solvable in Call The Midwife, versus here where you watch the Maesters flounder about with experimental solutions that only prolong the suffering of the laboring mother. It’s so frustrating lol.
I am so sad this is the last episode to this series. I love love love this channel and how intuitively they put together the various channels and clips. PLEASEEEEE do this for other major series. I will be looking forward!
Ok for those who do not know this is during this time Vhager is the largest out of all the dragons during this time period and she is the last of the great three dragons during Aegon's Conquest and is called the Queen of all Dragons during this time as well so it is a she. Daemon went to bring in more dragons and the one he was singing to is called Vermithor(known as the Bronze Fury) and was the mount of King Jaeharys(the king who gave his crown to Viserys in episode 1) and he is the second largest dragon just behind Vhagar herself. Also King Viserys did say that it was a foolish to think that they can control the dragons in the very first episode and he was not wrong for when dragons fight each other then all bets are off and the riders are just passengers at that point and Arrax was trying to get away from Vhagar. But Arrax was getting scared and when an animal runs from their predator and they can't outrun them then they have two chances and that is hide or fight and Arrax attacked Vhagar due to that and Vhagar got pissed off and that was when all bets were off and Luke was scarred as well and so Arrax was feeling his rider's emotional state and he panicked. It took two bits to finish off Arrax and Luke fell to his death and from that height no one could survive it and this was known as the Chase of Shipbreaker Bay and the event that kickstarted the Dance of Dragons Civil War and if they think that this was bad? O MY SWEET SUMMER CHILDREN IT IS GOING TO GET A HELL LOT WORSE FOR BOTH SIDES!!!! Plus you will not want to root for either side especially in the events to come and I know because I know how it what is coming next and how it ends and only ones I feel sorry for are the dragons.
Aemond was trying to scare Luke but he was doing it as if he was manipulating toys, he forgot he was using something worse than an animal. Syrax felt cornered and attacked, like any animal would accidentally triggering Vhagar aggressive behavior. Just like an animal squeaks, it triggers the others near by. They dont control the dragons and never did
I mean, if Rhaenys burned them all it would've made them martyrs and damaged Rhaenyra's cause greatly. Especially considering Aegon has an infant son that would succeed him with lots of lords very eager at the prospect of effectively ruling the realm themselves while he's a minor. Helaena's fate and that of the dragons shows as much.

Following the epic demise of GOT, this show had a lot of chances to disappoint. And disappoint it did not. If the first season is any sign of things to come, i'm fucking in.
Some folks are questioning why Rhaenys never bent the knee to Rhaenyra,well the reason is she is not the head of her house,her husband is When he does eventually return,his meeting with Rhaenyra is tense,but if you catch his word play,he calls her princess when he walked into the room,but when he decides to keep his oath and fight with her,he calls her”your Grace”accepting her as the rightful heir

And killing rightfull Velaryons to make way for the Strongs is not as cute and heartwarming as you think. And screwing over his actual family just be more famous is not as sweet as you think. Yes it did , though it's better to pause scenes in high quality, to have a better looks at them "features". Also, I feel like reminding you the the book has, what people call it: "unreliable narrators". So, just take it like a grain of salt, whether they were indeed draconic features or just those of a normal deformed human baby. Yeah, I know it's fantasy, but trust me.
