For real, maybe it’s too complicated for conventional computing, AI solutions might solve this problem in the future
I think what you usually do is you build it, then place everything into blender or something, including the animation replicating like you’re in game with the tool and placing something. Animating it like you’re moving around. Then editing the tool bar at the bottom etc.
That’s how I see it.
yeah its not in minecraft it was by some youtubers even explained how can you do it
The replay mod lets you export the camera movement of your player and an image sequence of the world which you can put into blender. Then you can use mineways to download your actual Minecraft world and use it as the collisions for the fluid.
Yea youre correct, notice how it doesnt show the outlines on the blocks anymore when hes done building.

iirc, realistic minecraft vids like this aren't actual gameplays, they're 3d animations, so the real question would be how long did this take to render

What is mind-blowing to me is how accurate the player's movements are on the rendered parts of the video. We can surely still feel that this is animated and not coming from the game, but Beef really simulated well the flying momentum, etc... Remarkable job on this!
it's probably tracked with actual footage from the game and then just with the water simulation over the top after roughly modelling the scenery that the water would collide with
@@linkedwinters Thats what he is saying. Hes saying the tracking is done well.
It helps that Minecraft is square and all.
@@StopmotionStudios13 they said that the movements were animated and not from the game, not tracked haha
@@linkedwinters By animated and not from the game he also means the tracking I think. Im sure the original comment wasnt implying that the sync was done by manually animating the right perspective without using tracking or something like that.
What im trying to say. He is not mentioning the technique. That doesnt mean that he doesnt realise that its tracked as opposed to something else that takes 100x longer.
Im also assuming things in my statement though.

Yesh it its satisfying
Very nice rendering 👌
But it does get me thinking... I'm sure coding more realistic fluids might be possible with voxels, I guess the calculations for the fluids might burn the frame rate for gaming though. 🤔
I wonder if anyone has tried it in minecraft.
@EXODST lol I bet! Be cooking an egg on the graphics card
If this render was done using Blender with the FLIP Fluids plugin, then I'm pretty sure it's already using voxels as FLIP Fluids is a voxel-based fluid simulation. Voxels can be a high performance approach to simulating fluids, but the results will massively depend on the resolution and size of the voxel grid; if you want a highly detailed fluid sim, you'll need to push the resolution higher and/or keep the size smaller which will hurt performance since more work needs to be done during the simulation. There are real time fluid sims but they all compromise on the detail of the simulation for this reason.
This is simultaneously extremely cursed and incredibly satisfying
Before 0:29, such as between 0:27 and 0:28, you can see that the game is selecting the blocks they are looking at.
At 0:29, there is a jump cut, and the blocks stop selecting when they should, such as as 0:31.
This is because the jump cut switched the video from Minecraft to a 3D rendering program, where the water was rendered using a fluid simulation.
