A little spin on Tiramisu that I tried once is adding Amaretto to the Marscapone and swapping the Savoiardi for Amaretti cookies, if you like the flavour of Almonds this is a great version to try :)
This must be my favorite dessert! All my favorites in one! Coffee, custard, rum! I wish, I could attempt this, but I can't stand, that long, because of a broken back.
I hope someone can make it for you!! I hope you heal!
Sit at a table to do it! That's how I always do it anyways since it is a bit of a timely process. :)
Prayers for you ✌️😘
You are always so happy and kind to people, it's like a big breath of fresh air when I walk into the building and see you here!
I never loved tiramisu until we went to Italy 2 weeks ago and it was completely different from any tiramisu I've ever had, literally brought me to tears it was so incredible. Now I HAVE to figure out how to make tiramisu like I had in italy.
I made a tiramisu last week with cointreau and the zest of an orange. For the custard I used whipped cream and egg yolkes but I also whipped the egg whites with some powdered sugar to lighten the custard. It was delicious but next time I will use stronger coffee and also layer some cocoa powder inbetween. Greetings from the Netherlands and have a great christmas weekend!!!
Delicioso. Yummy. Happy Holidays. 🌲🍾
Get your espresso from Starbucks. I just order it to go and bring it home to use
Ohhh I’m a happy camper! Thank you, Laura! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family. ❤️
Tiramisu is the perfect Christmas dessert 😍
For us Italians, the classic Christmas dessert/cake remains always the Panettone. :)
PS: the Tiramisù instead we can eat it all year round.
@@aris1956 vero e aggiungiamo pure che questo con mascarpone al caffe(americanata pura) marsala e panna montata non si avvicina neanche al tiramisù classico!
When Laura puts out a new recipe and you're in agony for the next 24 hours waiting on the exact measurements to be posted. 🤗🥰
Made this for Mothers Day today, 2023. Took a little longer to make with the enthusiastic help of my 6 year old granddaughter, but, wow!! What a great recipe!!! Awesome celebration today! Many thanks!!
This is perfect timing!! I’m making tiramisu for Christmas dinner and I preparing it tomorrow so it can sit over night! Grazie Laura 🥰🇮🇹❤️
This is so on time as I always do Italian cuisine for Christmas. I make cioppino and seafood lasagna and tiramisu for dessert and Negroni for the cocktail! Thanks for this!🥰
Italian here, hi. 🇮🇹 What's a "cioppino", never heard about it. Probably is a regional name for something.
By the way Italians do not use Tiramisù for Christmas, it's an ordinary sweetie here. Christmas cakes are Pandoro, Panettone, (North Italy) Panforte (central italy), pangiallo and pan pepato (Rome), roccocò (Naples) and Cassata (Sicily).
@@lucaschiantodipepe2015 it is only a Christmas dish for me since I would get disowned if I didn’t bring one for our family gathering. Not a whole lot of people make it here in Canada. It is my favorite.
@@iamjacksnick if some people can't drink coffee, (I know some here) I tasted a version made by roasted barley "coffe" without caffeine. It was good anyway. By the way, do you have in your country "savoiardi/lady fingers" to make it? 🤔🤔 Let me know. Greetings.
@@lucaschiantodipepe2015 I actually use decaf lavazza as I have issues with caffine. Yes, in Canada we have "savoiardi/lady fingers" specifically Italian since they do not fall apart. I believe they are imported. Regards :-)
You did an EXCELLENT job Laura 😍 I just want to eat your tiramisu 😋
Hi Laura
My family never taught me how to cook so thank you for every recipe you’ve taught me ❤️
This is the next dessert I’m making for sure- nothing beats your classic Italian recipes!! 🙏🎄🎁🍰☕️
I can't wait to make it!
Perhaps not everyone knows the literal translation of the term "Tiramisù". This term actually consists of an entire sentence…..”tirami sù” = pull me up.
Merry Christmas/Buon Natale from Italy !
Did you pasteurize your egg yolks? Just asking, hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas holiday. Thanks for sharing.
What’s great about Tiramisu, this is a great make ahead dessert for entertaining.
merry xmas laura, i make this cake every holiday there is, but i cook the eggs and sugar in a double boiler, i follow natastia kitchen recipe, i wish you would go over to see how she makes hers, its very similar too yours, enjoy your holidays
Perfect easy tiramisu. Perfection.
Tiramisu is my favorite dessert as well. I love the creaminess and the cake explosion with coffee liquid. Yumm.
Laura, your videos always make me happy
Tiramisu?! What the great work for the dessert! Especially if it was made of coffee, cocoa, cream and rum!

Hahahhaha I just finished preparing your "old" tiramisu recipe for christmas dinner tomorrow 🤣 I do it every yeaaaar!
I worked at a 5 star restaurant back in the 80s and 90s. We made it with ice cream. It was wonderful. GREAT VIDEO!!
I cook my egg yolks and sugar mixture over a bain marie. And i use kalua in my expresso.
Thanks for the video, Laura! I notice you didn't cook the eggs; all other recipes I've seen are are with cooked eggs over a double boiler. Are the results the same ?
So good might make it for Christmas day Pudding
When did you cook the eggs? The eggs are raw.
My mom always makes tiramisu by 10 or 11 pm, by that time we don't really crave any food plus the tiramisu can safely sit in the refrigerator for around 12 hrs
One of my favorites!!! Looks amazing, like all your recipes
Italy 🇮🇹
I’ve been making the old recipe for YEARS and everyone loves it! I have to try this updated version asap 😀
You are so gifted and beautiful. 🌷
I've never used Frangelico before. I'll try it.
Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Looks amazing.
I love tiramisu, but I love it made with cake better, it just tastes better to me, I don't know if I'd like the liquor in it though.
You can’t be posting these AFTER I already went to the supermarket 😂 Making Coq Au Vin this weekend too 👍🏼
I watched Laura's Lemon Tirumisu video today!!!
I shall make this ! It looks so good
Any concerns about the uncooked egg yolks?
You can always whisk the yolks and sugar over a double boiler
I make a zabaglione with egg and mascarpone and Marsala over double boiler - cool then fold in the whipped cream 🥰
the shirt youre wearing is a set from costco!! haha it is sooo soft and comfy!
How do I find your recipe for this Tiramisu? With the eggs etc
OMG I LOVE tiramisu and I love you Laura … but as soon as you said you mixed in Frangelico .. was like 🥴🤢 it literally took me back to the time when someone gave me a shot of it 🥴… since then I’m traumatized 😂😂 I’m going to stay with Rum and Amaretto.
Cant wait to try your recipe 😍❤️
🎄Feliz☃️Navidad❄️Happy☃️Holidays❄️Merr☃️Christmas🎄
This is going on my need to make list asap!!!
Buon Natale a tutti!
My favorite😍😍😍😍
I love you guys so much ❤️❤️
🤍💜🎄🎅Greetings from Canada🎅🎄💜🤍Merry Christmas to you and your family, I hope the year to come treats you all well, Stay Safe!!
I’ve never seen Tiramisu with eggs. That must make it very custardy.
I make mine with custard and mix the mascarpone cheese with it…. and of course alcohol lol
Could you cook the egg yolks in a bowl over a pan of boiling water?
I was wondering the same thing.
@@codyeve I have seen it been done before I just wanted to double check with Laura since I have never tried it myself.
@@sean.furlong1989 I’ve done it when I made ice cream. It should work.
@@codyeve I made ice cream the way Laura did and she never used the bowl over boiling water method.
@@sean.furlong1989 oh no, I meant I made ice cream that way. I never seen her do it.
Please do the chocolate chunk cookies but do brown butter and put the dough the fudge worth it on RUclips thanks
I do mine with Cointreau
These days I find the mascarpone that’s available to me is too thin and doesn’t create a thick cream..
Merry Christmas🇨🇦
I love you so much Laura ❤️❤️
It is really hard to search recipes on your website…
Oh Yum!
Looks beautiful! I’m interested in using the eggs, but I’m scared because it isn’t cooked.
That’s why I’m here in the comments...I agree.
I Make zabaglione over double boiler with egg yolks mascarpone and Marsala - cool then fold in the whipped cream 🥰
do you know what "Apizagrand", it is similar to Triamisu, but it has rice and raisins in it???my grand mother came from San Marcos, Italy, don't if that makes a difference or not...Buon Natale...
sei la più adorabile laura ! 😊
Bun in the oven? 🤔
I cook the eggs out over a double boiler
Hi Laura
May I know whether the egg has to be cooked or just beat it
Do I like coffee? No. Did I intently watch this whole video? Yes.
I just bought lady fingers and opened yt to find ur video ! Can i cook the yolks in double boile for a bit?
Looks so yummy! Would love to share my non-coffee recipe with you.
No yokes
Amaretto hot coco replaces coffee
Top it off with slivers/shaves of a really good hazelnut choco bar.
Buon Natale Tutti!
Tiramsiu has to coffee ☕ in it
Any recommendations for where to buy Italian lady fingers??
Yum
Good
Yummie
Laura.. Is your oven *La Cornue* ?
