This was the first dyson I got 2009. It was used as a daily driver until 2017. I still have it and it's still working pretty well!

The US models didn't have reliability issues with the cleaner head and motor loom wire. I do like that a lot of issues can be fixed with lubricant. The DC40 style vacuums still have that whining noise when you turn them off. However, I don't care for this vacuum because of the short cord, the noise, etc... The 41 is so much better.

I have grown to love the DC41! It’s such an amazing machine, infact I use that as my daily driver now I’m that impressed! If it had the build quality of a DC25 that would be a dream

Its quite funny actually, here in Australia we didn’t get the DC15 until about 2016, the dc08 in 2009 and the DC25 was about 2012? I know that the DC04 wasn’t introduced until 2006 here.

Really? Those were all discontinued in production by then, with the DC04 in 2005 and DC15 in 2007 approximately
