During setup if you have difficulties with connecting to the WiFi on an Android switch off Mobile data and try again. This worked for me.
Bose has the most low tech when it comes to app and connectivity. It is like a hit or miss. No matter how many patch update you do. Sound is subpar

I have this speaker, I might get more to pair a lot of them together. For the people who are having trouble comparing speakers I don't know what to tell. First keep trying. Remember blu tooth is really a shaky set up. My phone and my car often have issues as well as some led lights to my phone. Its really not something you can blame on bose but my suggestion is delete the app and try again. It works. but it takes work.
Be careful if you get several of these speakers! I have 5 but they don't work with Google and have no plans of adding Google commands.
The connectivity part is really inconvenient. Bose drop the ball on this item. It sounds good for sure

Hello Mr. I can't connect my BOSE Sound touch 10. After several tries I don't know what to do. I go through the steps easily but just at the level of connecting it to my wifi network, it does not pick up. Can you help me with that please?

Bought pair, POS keep your money spent two hours still not connected, rebooted everything, went thru all of the steps still no connection
Hold the 3 + Bluetooth for a couple of seconds it will completely reset
We are used to ours now, but geez.. the speaker takes so long to connect to wifi each time we use it.. Plus, we purchased two of them, and have never been able to pair both speakers at one time...

I have been trying to pair two speakers now for over 2 hours and have now given up.
I got 4 at home and they all play really well together, check you connectivity
Now working after several factory resets and updates. Fingers crossed, no problems so far. Unless you have time on your hands and like tinkering, from personal experience I can't recommend these speakers.
I have an older version of Bose with no wifi but it is portable ( chargeable)
I could not get my SoundTouch 10 to "Play All" with my Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. It plays one or the other but not both like it's supposed to. I will be returning the SoundTouch 10. :-(

I went through all that bullshit and halfway through I said f*"k this shit. I go through Bluetooth. I just hold down the left bottom button until the blue light blinks then connect. I was actually quite surprised how good it sounds. Mine is black.

How can I turn off the wifi?
If you hold down the #3 button and volume down together for about 10 seconds, that should turn it off. Do the same to turn it back on. Hope this helps.

I have this but connecting to a network is primitive. Soundcore products are way cheaper but amazing sounds. Bose...over price, tech wide is garbage.

Bose sound touch is a companion to human excrement, mine is a year old and still connects erratically, once you have it set-up 100% it will deprogram itself and back to cursing. I do not understand how come no solutions have been offered.
