I have the Howard Benson plugin and the great thing about it while tracking is that I can focus on the creative aspect of doing vocals on the spot which is really cool. It lets me work a lot faster and get a lot more done with vocals.
I bought the JST Howard Benson plugin a while ago.....It's great. Not gonna go on a long rant why, but it can get a wide array of sounds that sound sick. Can you run a chain/FX busses full of various plugins and get the same sounds? Absolutely. But having an all in one plugin is really useful for dialing in those vox fast. Well worth the money imo.

just mixed an album using that plugin for every vocal, worked great! Also love it for monitoring in band practices
"I didn't create those plugins either." Priceless.
Exactly
I use the Howard Benson for tracking vocals. It sometimes stays on in the final version. Great plugin

Even unprocessed, it sounds like there are at least 2 vocal tracks
Awesome great music song. So sound. Great audio
@TheMetalGuy852 Much awesome so sound great yes
Insane amount of saturation in extreme vocals, so that's basically the reason of such thick sound on tape.
This was very helpful only because Aaron is a genius.
Exactly, use the tools that we have in front of us.
Interesting. Almost every line has two screams, a higher and lower. I wonder if he records both
I have this plugin and it is a sick
Haha I used the old version of those plugins with this singer back in 2007
Why is everything a JST commercial now
Because they're cheap plugins that get the job done?
