Tatum has opened that door to being on the "cream of the crop" ELITE player, im my opinion. Luka is nearly averaging a 35 point triple double and averaging nearly 40 since the year started while his team is handicapped by being the most injured team in the NBA statistically. Eye test as well he is a more skilled and complete player than Tatum. Tatum’s best skill is scoring and Luka is miles better at that while also being a superior playmaker. The gap between Tatum and Luka is huge. Funny you talk about Luka not making teammates better when Tatum is a subpar playmaker even with 2 all star caliber players and 2 other solid offensive weapons on the floor with him.
Kawhi is back to playing elite defense every night while averaging 24 ppg on 53/45/89 shooting splits he’s nearly in the 50/40/90 club just by a percent. He’s a more complete scorer and better defender than Tatum.
Durant another guy outscoring Tatum on much better efficiency with less help than Tatum. D Book is barely out scoring Tatum with better efficiency while being a superior playmaker.
Haliburton is leading the number 1 offense without an all star before Siakam came in and he’s obviously 10x the playmaker Tatum is while still scoring like 23 ppg. He’s playmaking at that level not with JB, Porzingis, Jrue, D White but with Mathurin, Turner, Obi Toppin.
AD is actually healthy this year and the second best defender in the league only behind Gobert but he’s providing way more offense than him obviously. It’s alright lil bro you’re not watching games you’re only watching highlights. You don’t watch a full 48 minutes of hoops

These players are all better than Tatum as things currently stand. You can debate for 10th however I definitely think Tatum is 10th. AD and Tatum are 9/10th best in the league. You can make an argument for each of them. Easily could argue SGA this season for that 10 spot.
