Without a doubt a worthy conclusion to one of my favorite Pokemon games, official or otherwise. That final battle was something that felt absolutely incredible, thanks in no small part to the music. Absolutely a fitting end to the game's main story.

You are what originally led me to Reborn, Glitch. The Sea of Time remix came up in my recommended some like 10 years back. I found it just because I was looking for the Sea of Time (that track vanilla hits like a freight train) and in the comments of that video, i saw mention of "Pokemon Reborn". I followed the tracks down the rabbit hole, and brought me to the greatest pokemon game I've ever played. Now all of these tracks are tickets on the feels train. Good feels, bad feels. All the Feels. Thank you, Miss Glitch.
The way you capture how important this battle is is just done masterfully, it's the fight that decides if you become the strongest trainer in one of if not the hardest Pokémon games ever, and you did it justice, really well done

Yeah this track was a banger when I reached the battle (still is a banger now). Really love the intro drop, it hangs on just a tad longer than I expect each time and that anticipation is just wild.
Believe me, these fan games get way more complex and characters are more plot-heavy and usually with some insane powers, just like this champion herself.
Best Pokémon game out there by far. This theme is made so much better by how it starts before the actual battle does. They added a few fights like that in E19 and it sounds so sick!

@@CN-vs7yy Just in like Gen 7, you have to do the Elite Four again, but I believe you get to decide whether you want to fight in singles/doubles and pick the field for the title defense batlte. You can't rechallenge the Elite Four immediately after postgame, but I think Elite Four rematch is available once you finish Magearna's quest(but I'm not sure about this).
Fantastic game, and the fantastic soundtrack throughout was high up on the list that made the experience worthwhile happy to have been part of the journey, the final boss of E19s post game was brutal.
I just finished the game today, by that I mean I finished the postgame and catched all the pokemon. I feel sad to have nothing left to do in it but also a real feeling of joy and achievement. I can't thank you enough Glitch for doing the soundtrack of this game and make me discover its existence it's by far the best pokemon game I've ever played and now I can't wait to play other fangames. On this note, it's time to start Rejuvenation. By the way guys, what route do you prefer between Lin and Anna ? For my part it's the Lin route with saving her at the end, I think it's the only ending that can truly close the story by being open enough and hopeful for the futur of the characters.
I personally prefer the Anna route, just because it's the only one that comes with anywhere near a proper explanation of how Anna can do all this shit. I do headcanon that you can rescue Lin at the end too, though. Also, Anna being on a glitch field for her final battle kinda sucks, not gonna lie - "glitch" is specifically for computers and for Gen 1 mechanics bullshit, Anna would do better with a starlight arena or even New World field.
Lin route, while you miss out on a lot of context in regards to Anna, being able to achieve the full and complete positive ending is nicer, a world where the worst of Lin's intentions is to give Anna the big "nothing" prank and maybe tie her pigtails together in her sleep in a few months when she remembers that she was meant to be getting back at her for calling her "shy"....far more peaceful (plus Terra kind of confirms that the Player adopted Lin, so that's cute, better than her being killed by Arceus).
Props for beating the game 100%. I kind of broke down and didn't touch the game after beating Lin. The game was so hard and I got so many experiences and memories from all the challenges, I didn't feel the need to play any more to fully enjoy it. I might come back someday, but this game (to me) while might not be the best designed, is definitely one of the most memorable experiences I've had with a Pokemon game.
Personally prefer the lin route. Never liked that the game took itself soo extremely serious, the lin route taking a more comedic approach while still retaining some serious undertone was refreshing for me. Also because it‘s harder imo, Glitch field is just too abusable

The finale to end a long and grueling siege of a fan-game that pulls out all the stoops to rig the system against you. Holy smokes it was challenging but so satisfying to get through it. I really loved this when I first heard it; it's got all the suspense and hitting hard at all the right moments. Thank you, it's been a blast!
Coming from someone who has yet to beat reborn because i am not very good. I feel an indescribable fear when listening to this... A fear that can only be experienced when an unstoppable force comes hurtling towards you... Update: what a glorious final confrontation this was. This music perfectly captures the event in a mesh of 2 individuals going all out. Truly glorious.
yeah in the first lin fight i was so dissapointed that this wasnt the theme and she was so easy to beat. well i stood corrected when she destroyed me like 4 times on the second fight
I actually did not find the fight easy at all. Maybe my team was just a bit unbalanced, but her whole PULSE 2 team really kicked my ass. (Especially that DAMN Delphox) In the second fight I actually was able to sweep most of her Pokemon except for you-know-who, who I kinda had to cheese. Overall fantastic champion though, and this theme made it all the better.

I didn't expect it, but having played Reborn a few weeks ago (obviously almost 100h straight to the end, only stopping for primary needs or keeping up with animes and youtube videos), I remember being really under pressure but still dancing and hype while facing Lin. You made this a long time ago, but even then you truly were extremely talented !

I like how the art for the Champion kinda looks like the old art for some of the Pokémon in Gen 1 and I think 2. Nice touch there to whoever made it.
