- Join It Is Written Sabbath School host Eric Flickinger and this quarter's author, Mark Finley, as they provide additional insights into this week's Sabbath School lesson, "Motivated by Hope."
Amazing I went to It Is Written shop. The sign says, "Our online store is closed for the Sabbath" how amazing. Then, "We will reopen Saturday evening after sunset". Well it is still light here so after sundown I will go back on line. How amazing. You take the Sabbath literally. God bless you abundantly.

Praise God that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of THE Archangel (His own voice, since He is head of the angelic host) and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Praise the Lord.
As I viewed my Uncle-in-law's funeral just last night, I realize how confused many are on this subject. At one point according to the priest, he was in heaven enjoying its bliss at another point in the urn on the table: at one point dead, at another enjoying the fellowship of the attendees. So sad. There is no need for such confusion when the Word is so clear on this issue.

Dan 8:13-24 has 3 questions
Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled -the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the LORD’s people?”
He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.”
Q1: the vision concerning the daily Sacrifices
Q2: the rebellion that causes desolation(rebellion between Greek Jews and Jerusalem Jews)
Q3: the sanctuary being restored (the temple was destroyed by gentiles, by Assyrians and Babylonians)
The second angel answers this 3 question of HOW LONG in verse 14.
“It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.
Notice verse 16: angel Gabriel interprets the vision.
So the vision and its interpretation is clearly explained in Dan 8.
But our Church has a different interpretation 😮😮… 1844, investigative judgement, probation….
To study history is good because it enlightens the present but we must let scripture interpret scripture. In the sanctuary service the cleansing of the sanctuary was removing all the evil deeds stored in the sanctuary and placing it on the scapegoat, we need to study what is relevant to us. we see how the Jews are desecrating the character of God and His plans for them and the work that Jews were supposed to do, namely to proclaim the good news of salvation. The world is despising these Sabbath keepers and what they are doing with the power and supplies given them by the lamb like beast and we are heading to the place where the world will hate Sabbath keepers because we will all be painted with the same brush as the Jews.
