This definitely helps me compress and get through the golf ball more with the weight on the lead leg. Question though - how much weight distribution should you have? 65-70 percent on lead leg or is that too much?
Hey there! Swing struggles can be frustrating, but with a bit of practice and the right tips, you'll start seeing improvements. Keep practicing and you'll get there! 👍
@@kerrodgraygolfid say iron on set up is 50-50 in ur swing ur weight should transfer from back leg to front leg whereas driver set up is most weight on back leg and stays there
Dude, my golf coach literally has to stop me doing this all the time.end up with the left shoulder low and super steep. The whole feeling is driving that right foot in the ground and transferring into impact.
Lol it's just one guy made a video on how to do this. Then a whole bunch of how guys were like yeah I am going to do that verbatim. There has got to be some kind of copy right issues here hahahaha.
I learned this in Stack & tilt over at Golftec. I’ll never go back to that type of setup. Original swing is the way to go. Load up on the trail and fire away. Love your videos.
This is not good. Professional golfers will push most weight back into that trial foot, into the heel and then press into the lead side. Many of them even lift that front heel in the back swing, so their weight cannot be on that foot.
Pressure in the trail foot and halfway back you are already on the lead foot. But to start there and keep it there causes a steep plane and an unnecessary extension of your spine. Maybe I am misunderstanding though. Find a good force plate system and check yourself against the best players. They do not use their bodies like this. They wouldn’t be able to play very long if they did. Cheers
@@shawnkirkpatrick906 That is completely false, If it is you are doing it wrong. I've been golfing this way for more than 30 years, it works. BTW Stack and Tilt is this exact principle. Why use weight shift with back and forth movement to get to the spot where you started? Start there, stay there and pivot hips 45* and shoulders 45*, you have a perfect 90* backswing and good golf results.

Stack and Tilt, a power loss technique. Good for folks that can't transfer their weight or hot the ball. Correct swing technique is: load on your trail foot during the backswing and shift it to the lead foot in the downswing, for more distance. But, the lead should down through impact is a great swing thought.
This is not stack and tilt. This is simply keeping more weight on the lead leg. Stack and tilt is much more than what is described here. Go watch Shawn Clemente’s videos on bracing the lead leg and he is not a fan of stack and tilt.
Stack and tilt
pros dont do this, is there a phrase for what pros do?

This is usually the one single swing thought I have at the beginning of the swing!
Is there a full video?
Helpful!
Glad you think so!
Many Thanks 👍
Simple and extremely helpful
Glad it helped

Can’t wait to try this. I’m struggling so much with my swing recently.

Stack and tilt?
So should we not shift back then forward? I just started and people tell me that. But can’t time it up. Feel better just doing this also with driver
You should not move off the ball, but your pressure should shift.
I can see how this swing works hitting down on the ball. Can you do this with driver? How would you hit up on it?
In an iron swing your weight is 80% on the lead foot, while with driver it is more around 50-50.

Just like that you fix my issue. Thank you. I've been killing myself trying to divot in front of ball
Oh. That's great! Keep watching! 👍

No great player has ever swung like this.
Find when I try this, I inevitably reverse pivot. How do you stay forward without reverse pivoting?
Love it great tips
Thanks! 👍
Short n quick demonstration with simple instructions. Not all that talk n run arounds
YES. Must improved ball striking/contact at the range recently doing just that.
This is stack and tilt golf swing, right?
The problem is I make TOO MUCH contact with the ground - before I hit the ball 🙉
This is definitely stack in tilt
Partially right
If I can keep my right eyeball under my left nut, I’ve discovered I can draw the ball and get an extra 20-30 yds
Lol
Yes
Don’t do this in the wintertime if you value your fingers. Digging turnips
That to me will probably make me dip.. stay low on your guiding arm. Yeah I’m terrible at trying anything new. I just rotate my hips for momentum.

Reverse pivot waiting to happen here
What is the context of the advice? As general advice it's terrible.

U smashed it with a hammer

Nope. Zero distance lost with this method. Nada.

Omg no… 🤦♂️ please folks be careful of the instruction you get

Stack and tilt does NOT work. Never has, never will.
