Syed Noor, born on 21 February 1950, started as an assistant to director S. Suleman in the Pakistani film industry. He later became known for his exceptional screenwriting skills, writing around 250 films in Urdu and Punjabi. Noor made his directorial debut in 1993 with the film "Qasam" and went on to direct successful Urdu and Punjabi films. He also established Paragon Studios and Paragon Academy of Performing Arts to teach filmmaking. With nearly 300 films to his credit, he has won more than 10 national awards and was honored with the "Sitara-e-Imtiaz" by the Pakistani government.
