Hahaha that's so true. I love how stubborn he is about just putting in a dead man's hand. He would've won the druid game pretty easily if he had even a few more cards in his deck, but he's thinking about it backwards by focusing on the nature of a dead man's hand deck. It's not that running one copy of a card makes it automatically that deck. Like you wouldn't say this is an "acolyte of pain" deck and compare it to every other deck that runs acolyte of pain to figure out whether or not it's worth playing. It's simply that dead man's hand is a card that makes this deck better.
i do understand where he's coming from, you look at dead man's hand, and many other cards, and think of it as a build around me card first and a utility card second. So it can be pretty easy to think a card with a pretty narrow ability should only exist in a single archetype
This deck definitely needs at least one dead’s man hand in it. It doesn’t matter if it’s a worse dead mans hand if it’s just a bad deck
it's a great deck. all you do is mill all of your cards to draw the combo, then you have to beat the opponent with the cards you don't have
I think this deck is without dmh for a reason. You can fuck it up so easily

And it's also ANOTHER part to get before the combo
4 card combo isn't terrible. And you never give it to them you just hold it until you can dead man then giest in the same hand. Puts you many stages ahead of fatigue. Toast played a variant with some actual success using removal and hard control until the very late game.

Trump got too caught up on saying it's weaker than dmh warrior if you put in a dmh, togswaggle is weaker than dmh togswaggle, if dmh togswaggle is weaker than dmh warrior, then this deck is not as good as dmh warrior. Excluding dmh doesn't make it stronger than dmh warrior if dmh togswaggle is better than this deck.

Putting in Deadman's Hand dilutes the point of the combo at the heart of the deck, ensuring it is a worse Deadman's Hand deck. Omitting it makes it a different thing that may or may not be worse than Deadman's Hand.

You have no idea how much I was expecting a 0-13 in 10 seconds montage of Trump's hero exploding after the first sentence.

What I don't get is why the opponent switches decks again KNOWING they're getting Un'Goro instead of just using the opponent's deck. Can anyone explain?

Idont understand the logic of not playing dead mans hand..."you dont want to play a worst dead mans hand deck"....but you know this deck will never be good, so if you play it, why not play a slightly stronger version? Also put in Hemet and you double your chances to get the combo

Hemet doesn't work with togwaggle though. The whole point of the explore un'goro, skulking geist, togwaggle combo is that you take their deck, then explore, then if they swap back they have no cards cos geist.
If you hemet before togwaggle, they swap back and you have no cards. If you hemet after togwaggle, then they never swap back, and you have no cards.

2018, welcome to not understanding Jade idol is a 1 cost spell and Skulking removes all 1 cost spells.
So I played against this deck before seeing this video and never considered him having skulking guist. I choose not to swap back because I figured the rest of his deck was better then discover a card and secretly discovered how to beat this deck... Haha

Trump, you should do a spinoff of your "Trump reviews Trump reviews" by looking at the set that will next rotate out and see how it has changed with the release of the newer sets. I got this idea while watching your "Trump Reviews Trump Reviews: Naxxramas Cards" and you talked about dancing swords saying maybe it could be used in a mill deck but mill decks are quite a while away from being complete and now mill rogue has seen some varying play I think seeing what decks have spawned using older cards with the newer sets.
So why are you not playing 2 Explore and Geist?
I get that drawing 2 of them is not good (although getting 2 Explore is not even that bad since you can play it after they swap back), but I feel like the games you loose because you have/drew one card less would be fewer than the games you only win because you drew your combo earlier (or at all).
Quest mage also plays 5 apprentices even though they only need 4.
So sure, maybe not 2 Geist, but 2 Explore seems better.
2 explore un'goro might be better, but you risk giving a geist to your opponent if you run 2 and do the combo with only one in hand

How is this combo supposed to work? I don't get it. If you explore, then swap your opponent can just swap back the next turn and you can't play gheist since you now have the ungoro deck yourself. If you swap, then explore the opponent can just keep playing your deck against the ungoro deck right? What's the win condition here?
And once your deck (that he now has) runs out of cards he can still play the ransom. If you play gheist after that then you are both in fatigue and who wins depends on the hand cards both players are still holding. That's not a very convincing plan. What am I missing?

Why the hell would the hunter player make a 13/13 Bitterhyde against a deck that can consistently do 1 damage to minions????? He took 12 damage for absolutely no reason for that dumb ass mistake.
The problem with the 'may as well play dead man's hand deck instead' argument is that you may as well play Highlander priest than either of those decks.
This is for fun - Make it a little better while still having the fun aspect of togwaggle by adding in a copy of dead man's hand.
I don't understand why the Hunter would switch back, before taking all of Trump's cards from his deck... At least it would've made them even in fatigue, while giving him some stuff to play.

Well, this deck is definitely interesting. I dont think there are any other decks that are more about making their deck as bad as yours than it is about just having the better deck.

DMH - Togwaggle is not strictly worse than DMH warrior. Because when you play Togwaggle you destroy around a third of their deck. I mean all versions of Togwaggle are basically memes, but they're not strictly worse; for example they can be very strong against combo decks.

The decks return to their owners, so basically you just give your opponent 2 Ransoms and don't do anything else.

If they choose to not swap back, they have a deck without a win condition.
The only way they can Geist you is if they have Geist in hand before the swap and also didn’t play it. This is “possible” and I guess in that case you just lose.
But considering that this whole deck is a meme with a way below 50% win rate, there are bigger problems to worry about than the fringe case that they run Geist, haven’t played it, and also have it in hand.

I thought Togwaggle was for countering warlocks playing Rin? As a mage you just control and let them finalize Rin and destroy your deck, then play togwaggle+counterspell. They try to trade back the deck and it gets counterspelled. Wasn't that the whole point of togwaggle, to be a counter for Rin? Also maybe used in a mill deck, when you run out of cards before them just trade decks and set them back a few turns cause they have to use 5 mana, plus they take fatige damage once or twice, then you also played a 5/5 and gained some tempo.
I really think this deck only works vs players who dont know about it, i played it at the release day and i just didnt swapped the last cards back , second way would be keeping geist vs warrior (you dont need it in this match up anyway) and destroy your own deck right after the swap

You threw *so hard* that last game. Why did you use an execute on the second 1/5, when a hit+Slam would've left you an execute for the direhorn later, and used a slam in a way that didn't draw a card?

In the last game could've started damaging your direhorn with heropower the turn you played it, it would be at 2 health in time so u could use bash to kill it without drawing.

Trump why not just play Dead Man's Hand Warrior with this combo? DMH already runs Skulking Giest so you're literally just swapping out two cards for Toggwaggle and Explore Un'Goro. I mean just look at this decklist and the DMH deck you made in November they're practically identical!! With some Coldlight Oracles you should be able to hit your combos no problem and if you don't draw it you can always shuffle your hand until you do.

You can have dead man´s hand in the deck. You don´t actually need it in the hand to pull off the combo.
If your opponent draws it while you are swapped, or decides to not switch back, then you're fucked.

Trump's play at 18:30 triggered me a little. If he played the Sentry followed by hero power before the brawl, the odds of landing anything on his side would have been 1 in 3. Better than the 1 in 6 he opted for.
May not have mattered in the end anyhow but just hate how passive the play was.

Instead of using dead man's hand, why not just have less card draw and 2 copies of explore and geist?
G.Zoltan doing that means you don’t understand how you win or you lose. If you play 2 copies of explore and Geist, you’d have to draw both copies before togwaggle. Why?
Because it means they would be in your opponents deck after swapping. Meaning they could Geist you if you didn’t draw both copies destroying your deck, meaning they would never bother to swap back. Or play Explore Ungoro meaning Geist would just destroy both decks, placing both players in fatigue. That’s generally bad for the togwaggle player as it’s a passive deck, and it’s more likely the opponent will have more life than you if you both enter fatigue at the same time.

Sena Efendić Get the Razormaw and get the Windfury. The Adapt alone is 3/10, for the Razormaw, it's 1/all neutral or Hunter beasts with effects.

Why would you not run 2 explore ungoro and 2 skulking geist. The only downside is having 2 in your hand, which isn't the worst thing ever
pace abuser i play a variation of this deck. The problem i ran into is that if you togwaggle with either one of them int the deck, then your opponent can replace your deck with jtu or ruin your combo and send you into fatigue immediately with the 2nd skulking geist
then run 2 explores or 2 geists but not both, should add to consistency

You’ve been playing a lot of warrior lately. Can you try some Rogue (mill , miracle, tempo) but mostly mill (dogs #1 legend mill)

The ultimate problem with this deck is that the opponent has no incentive to play Randsom. People do it just because they... I dunno. Aren't paying attention? If you just play the control warrior deck until it is out of cards chances are good for you.
With all the card draw, the deck you give them should be smaller than the one you get. Plus with each card in your deck being an explore ungoro you will outlast/outvalue the removal easily. They have to swap back or it's a win for you.
But you need one copy of dead man's hand in the deck or the combo doesn't win you the game.
Ekitchi Hoshi Pfffffffft, Explore Un'guro being good for lasting. Hah. No. Nope. No way. Not buying that. Card is trash.
Remember, when you have Choose Your Path cards in your deck, they have your warrior deck with no threats, only card draw and removal.
Also, Choose Your Path is actually a good top deck when at 10 mana. The reason the card is not playable on it's own is because it's too slow and a liability for the early game.

Ekitchi Hoshi I love and am very generous to Discover effects, and I would much rather have the removal. It's just mathmatically baaaaad to have a Discover effect with no range. You have to rely on a ridiculous percentage chance of getting something halfway decent.
Well anything is mathematically better than nothing...so..yeah easy win if they don't switch back.
