    Hi Belinda! Love your content. Could you please do a video on stabilizing natural pigments (reds, purples oranges) in water-based formulations. While natural pigments from beets and berries a very soluble, they are not stable and fade rather quickly. How can this be counteracted? Thank you again for high quality content!

      You will need to use the Sensient Natpure XFine range to obtain long lasting colour; a lot of other natural sources don’t maintain their colour, and that can’t be ‘fixed’. It’s the source of the colourant, and the supplier, that determines its longevity.     Thank you! I would like to ask one thing: while making emulsions, are stabilisers normally unnecessary? What other "supporting" ingredients are most common? How about peptides in purely water-based formulas, do they need stabilising? Sorry for this "low-level" question. I am just getting into formulating.

    Thanks it’s really nice information. So what about Arabic gum could I used for lotion. I mean oil in glycerin or it will give sticky feelings on skin. Thanks 🙏

    Hello Belinda, i would like to know how can i do my mesure when the gum that i have (Guar gum) is actually a powder gum not liquid??

      All of your gums should be in a powder form - they start this way and then we add them to the solution to gel them effectively.     Thank again for such an informative video . Searching for xanthum gum grades found cosphadermx34 , cosphaderm x soft and cosphaderm kg to be used for gelling . Pls do share of the three formulas which would be suitable for a creating stiffer gel ( formulating Aloveragel) that would be non tacky , and something close to carbopol.
