With her band Daughter she once scored the indie hit 'Youth', a real Duyster classic. A few years ago, she rented a studio with that band to finish a soundtrack, but once it was finished, she kept going there every day. It became a kind of workflow. Although it was also a period in which she also worked psychologically on herself. The texts she wrote daily were more and more about her relationship and how it ended.
This was an incredible interview, I hold this album so close to my heart and cannot wait to hear new music in the future :,) 💌🤍🤍
Elena reminds me so much of Elizabeth Fraser. There's something unreal about her, something ethereal that comes through in interviews like these as much as it does in her lyrics. I find it hard not to romanticise her, which is so weird, as I work with artists and celebrities all the time, but have never struggled to separate the individual from the work, as I do with Elena. I hope she works through the feelings that have kept her off the stage since the release of Stereo Mind Game, and finds whatever it is she's looking for in life.
i never heard this thanks for posting this❤️
i liked this interview thank you for sharing
Heel mooi ❤
!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... oh wait this is old :(
I think they are never coming back 🚬
They just released a new song , and an album is coming
@@ziademad4707 the anticipation is unreal! I've never followed the "feeding bread crumbs before the album release" cycle, but all the singles so far have been sincerely breathtaking
