Been running gouging fire since it released, was a lot worse when Charizard was running rampant cause that matchup was almost an auto lose. That deck becoming less popular on top of munkidori really helps the deck come together
I'm loving this deck tbh. I made a couple modifications to your list. I removed the Bundle, and 2 shoes to add a Delphox, 3rd charm, and 1 fire energy. It runs roughly the same, but im having a lot of success with it. Thank you for this list, I love Gouging Fire, he's one of my favorite mons.
there is a new deck with roaring moon+gouging fire, it operates almost the same but with a lot more options!
Wow do you have a list?

@@thefallenbassist very cool thanks, no dark patch 2X?
@@Jason-hk6fx depends on your preference but IMO the 4 sada is enough, you just want endgame RM anyways, fire is the main early-mid game option
@@thefallenbassist thank you
Thankyou for the frequent uploads 😄
This upload rate is insane folks
It neeeeeda the roaring moon azul!
I’ve been playing this deck for months, the munkidori definitely made the deck real.
Why no entei or delphox? I also included moltres for mimikyu too
How do we feel about adding in a tatsu?
Time for me to try the dundunsparce cpao deck 😂
Well dang, this the first time I get to a video this early!
Does anyone know why some Pokémon say "this Pokémon cannot attack until it leaves the active" but others say "during your next turn this Pokémon can't attack" (iron leaves, BM ursaluna). It would suggest that retreating/switching shouldn't reset the latter, but it does.
The wordings are more specific than you paraphrased. Gouging Fire ex for example specified that you can't "use Blaze Blitz" (so one specific attack) until it leaves the active spot, meaning it can still use the other attacks, but not Blaze Blitz unless you switch it out. The others which say "during your next turn, this Pokemon can't attack" just means you can't use any attacks from that Pokemon at all until you switch it out (or you skip a turn).
In general, the difference between "until it leaves the active spot" and "can't attack next turn" is that "can't attack next turn" has a specific duration (so only for that one turn), so if it survives that one turn, it can attack again. "Until it leaves the active spot" would force you to switch it out, no matter how many turns pass, for you to attack with that Pokemon, or use that specific attack again.
@@RedSatoshi okay that makes sense. Actually I think Gouging fire's wording is logical and self-explanatory, but the ones that say "during next turn, this Pokémon can't attack" is poorly worded.. Like how does switching out have anything to do with resetting that? It's still the same Pokémon, it's still the next turn... If you cherens care or scoop up cyclone it then that could make sense, but just retreating to bench and switching back in shouldn't reset imo.
@@jackcooper3193 It’s because the game rules of the TCG state that if you switch the Pokémon into the bench, all effects on it would be nullified, which naturally includes restriction effects
Isn’t this just a bad version of roaring moon which is a worse version of raging bolt?
Hard disagree with moon being worse than bolt
@@Willyazaa you know better willy
When dragapult ex?
Thanks for sharing this deck. I played against it multiple times and smacked it away bc its ass
Is gouging fire good now because people are playing the grass oger?
Don’t think so, gouging fire knocks out grass oger in one hit regardless of weakness.
@@hayeskwong1829 I’m just saying more and more people are playing fire Pokémon for the east knockouts. I realize it one hits regardless of weakness
Paid actor on the last one
Luminous then attaching gift smh
LMAOO you would be surprised how many ppl on tcglive don’t even know how to play the game or just troll you can win a lot with pretty much any deck
100 views man I think you fell off

You only got 100 views in the first 10 minutes??
