In my eyes here, San seemed very embarassed but you could tell he sorta felt sad thinking about woosang being close again after the thingy was addressed. I can empathize with the three of them Wooyoung is naturally a friendly person so I mean it’s easy for him to make friends and get close to them for his friendship with San based on videos and pictures he looks closer to him than yeosang he’s always with him gravitates to him more like they are always together I mean friendship isn’t determined by how long you know a person but by the bond. However for yeosang I can understand why he did what he did I mean it’s a group he wants to be the same with everyone and not show favoritism (that’s literally what woo and San always does and that’s fine for them but yeosang isn’t like that) he knows that woo is his best friend/friend so OF COURSE it’s going to hurt seeing his friend get closer to someone else. I think this is related to the personality type of both, my understanding is that Yeosang is an introvert and both San and Wooyoung are extroverts so of course is gonna be difficult for him to integrate and also he had a point of explaining why he wanted to have a relationship with all the members. At the end I think both parts clear the situation and the hug at the end was just too precious 💕💕💕
And that's credited to the fact they talked it out and were very mature about things. I'm sure San felt bad because he probably didn't even realize how it was affecting Yeosang. But since they brought it up, they were able to hear how it affected Yeosang personally. It just allowed them to get closer and read each other better

As an introvert like Yeosang, and a person who's been through the same thing as Yeosang. I know how it hurts. I think the reason he gave short replies to woo is that he wanted attention. When my friend used to leave me out and sometime later come talk to me I'd always give her short replies, I did this because I knew my friend would say "what's wrong?" as soon as she saw me quiet. In all honesty, I did it because I wanted attention, I wanted her to worry about me instead of someone else, even for a tiny moment. I wanted to see if she cared and noticed I was a bit off, I think Yeosang did the same.
Sometimes it's better to address the issue rather than to make small implications which can be not understood or can be considered in the wrong way.. like here.
I have the type of character like woo (extrovert). The people like us need for some honest clarification or sharing our feeling for know each other more. If they didn't sharing their feeling for us, the type like me or woo didn't understand what's going on with this. This like, we aren't sensitive enough, it's really so hard to the type of character like us to understand what's going on if he/she didn't talked about their feeling, seriously this is so hard even if we thinking about this all night and even this will missunderstanding for the other problematic things like in the video. we need some honest clarification or sharing for the other feeling like they do in the video.. that's why joong,yunho,jongho,san,mingi and seonghwa know about yeosang feeling but woo didn't know about it cause his character is like that, he didn't sensitive enough. Thats true but then again its not woos fault either. It was just a big misunderstanding they both had woo thought yeosang didnt care about him as much and found someone he can be more open too while yeosang just wanted to make sure the members didnt feel intimated by them. So i just know if they had better communication skills this wouldve never happen but im also glad it happened earlier then later and it also helped them learn and understand eachother more.

Yeosang is the kind of person who won't go and say it out loud for the good of the team. We can notice it in many videos how he try his best to not make the others feel bad about anything he says even though he can be brutally honest he Trully care about their feelings. We can also see it clearly when he said San was his best friend and Woo went all No! Then you can see yeosang panicking and trying to lift San while saying to him Woo is your best friend we're all best friends! 99zlines . Gosh this is Soo complicated thats why I like him best. i think it was a hard time for him bcs he's not used to situations like that, he keeps all in himself. But he handled the situation so well and blamed himself for everything :) i don't know how much he's hurt, but he faced this situation strongly and i admire him for that. Hongjoong, Seonghwa, and Jongho all stepped in here to make sure the situation didn't get out of hand. Wooyoung is the classic extrovert who externalizes everything and has a hard time connecting to people's internalized feelings, and Yeosang is the classic introvert who has trouble externalizing his feelings but is very good at picking up on the internalized feelings of others. San doesn't really factor in to this conversation to be honest, because he's not the issue, and I'm glad Hongjoong pointed out Yeosang's maturity here and how it demonstrates the strength of their friendship - even if Yeosang felt hurt by Woo he didn't blame him or attack him for it. Another comment mentioned that after this they all seemed to be closer and I think that's true - San went out of his way to include Yeosang many times after this. It's a difficult situation but I"m glad they were able to solve it - these kinds of misunderstandings at their age can often get out of hand but because Seonghwa, Hongjoong, and Jongho all mediated they were able to manage while being cognizant of everyone's feelings. I hope other ATINY don't feel too saddened by this - it's a natural part of life and the fact that they can talk about it and work through it demonstrates that they really value each other and want to grow together. You don't put this much effort into solving a misunderstanding unless you're very invested in the relationship. Hongjoong deserves a lot of credit here because he stopped Woo and clarified the reality of the situation even though they were on live - he put Yeosang's feelings and fairness to him first and that really shows how much he values fairness in his team. I'm glad they got to talk about this and I hope that Yeosang continues to be loved and cared for bythe members.
After this incident it's quite evident San tries to include Yeosang at his best and mostly by skinship, and Yeosang being the mature one accepts and goes along. I don't know about Wooyoung but the way Yeosang and San try to be matured is worth appreciation. Just as you said I loved how Hongjoong handled the situation ❤️

But when they opened up this topic on their Vlive, I suddenly felt sad for Yeosang especially when Hj (or Seonghwa) said that "when there is a team work, Yeosang will look at Wooyoung but Wooyoung will look for San". Of course, Yeosang will expect Wooyoung to team up with him coz they're friends for like 5 or 6 years. as someone who is like that, it hurts because people are always assuming that you are fine and don't need the same treatment as the other friends. friendship-wise everyone is family, but actions wise i am the one that doesn't recieve much skinship, together time, outings etc. im the one clicking the photos/recording but not the one my friends go out of their way to get a photo with-i always have to ask/get in. people dont go out of their way for me. ive had to deal with not being the priority and asking to be included. its all because i never share when they upset me or make me feel left out because a-firstly im an introvert so they wouldn't understand my concerns and the way i take things in and b-i know it will make things awkward. if i cry about how they dont do much with me, then when they do fix their behaviour, it'll feel forced, because the way i see it is if you really wanted to spend time with me, you wouldve done it without me having to ask. and who am i to be jealous of everyone else because i am happy for them. being type 9 is a burden because you understand things so deeply you put your self last because its easy to convince yourself that things are the way they by their intention and the whole dynamic cant be destroyed by a sensitive person. like imagine being the cause of a whole group walking on eggshell around you...

yeosang is an introvert, a very shy boy. he has trouble explaining what he thinks about, even to close friends. as someone with a similar personality, he probably understood what woosan was, and because of his quietness, he didn't say anything. like they both said, they know they are close, but they have 8 members! ofc you can't talk all the time. that's probably what yeosang reasoned with, but he most likely felt saddened by this. because he created a reasonable explanation, he felt like "oh.. i shouldn't be upset about this." so he didn't address it. and no, nobody was wrong in this situation. because sangie is quiet, he was attached to woo already, but woo is extroverted, so he "moved on" quickly. they have major personality differences, which caused the awkwardness. but i just wanna say, that yeosang had a justified reason to feel left out. lets not just focus on wooyoung and sannie, but also yeosang
To be honest, i have been felt in the same of situation like woo and i'm the extrovert like him. That so hard when you in woo's situation too. His actions really speak louder than words and I think that’s why he chose to simply distance himself from Wooyoung rather than talking it out. Honestly, Wooyoung didn't even realize what he had done until other people told him. That tells me that if it were not for Yeosang holding onto him that their friendship probably would have grown apart a long time ago. What finally happened is that Yeosang was prepared to let go. Yes he would have remained professional and cordial, but he was closing himself off to Wooyoung. That says a lot about how deeply he cares for him. Because you want the person you care about to be happy, even if it is at your own expense. Yeosang was totally willing to suffer in silence if it meant that Wooyoung would be happier being closest to San. But Wooyoung noticed Yeosang slipping away. I can't imagine how many nights Yeosang sat and was angry or sad or cried before he got to the point where he gave up.

Of course we don’t know what really goes on behind the cameras but during the whole video, the atmosphere was actually really lighthearted and it was just the members displaying cute jealousy towards one another.

But, you have to admit that when you are in a group (who are not just friends group but also work together) you need to try to get close to all the members equally. I understand what you're trying to say. The fact that Yeosang just poured out his feelings out of nowhere and went as far back as 2 years ago means that he's been holding it in for a while. This shows that Yeosang isn't one to talk about his feelings so he just keeps it all in until it all just comes out which is what happened in this vlive. And wooyoung is the type of person that's tricked by familiarity like San said. He just expects Yeosang to be ok with everything because they've been best friends for years. Just wanna say that this was back in December of 2019. 9 months ago. Their friendship has gotten a lot better and I think they are all closer now. Recently they asked woo about his best friends and he said "Yeosang and San" not only that, but I can see that he has learned how to be with not only San, but the rest of the group too. 💕

I feel like people are kinda blaming Wooyoung for the whole thing but I hope you all know that not everyone can pick up subtle hints. Some people need verbal clarification, they need someone to tell them when something is wrong. I understand Yeosang's feelings and why he didn't just outright say it but I also understand why Wooyoung didn't get it. Woosang are opposites, they're very classic introvert meets classic extrovert, they'll have difficulties sometimes when those two things clash but at the end of the day sometimes a little outside influence can sort it out quickly.

Honestly I impressed with yeosang because he can control and keep it to himself. I was in the same situation like them but I chose to Cope with it by making my friend jealous. And it work, she got jealous but at the same time, she was hurt like I do. At the end, we hurt each other and I lost her as my bestfriend.

Honestly I always felt like a horrible person whenever I felt jealous of my friends having other friends but seeing this and everyone’s comments makes me feel comforted that It is a common thing to happen
We introverts know what yeosang was doing trying to play it off like he was acting hurt when hongjoong was talking about "yeosang looks at wooyoung but then wooyoung looks at san" part. He really was hurt and I think he appreciated how the members explained what they observed but wanted to play it off so it wouldn't become too emotional. As an introvert, I would be SO thankful if someone did that for me in midst of an misunderstanding because there were so many times people i knew kept to themselves and didnt even try to explain it when they also knew there was a problem. It helps us feel like we're not alone and that feeling is enough to give us courage to speak sincerely.
After looking back, this was a wonderful way to get words off of their chests. Everyone who wanted to speak, spoke. The rest of the members were respectful and only chimed in at appropriate times. Hongjoong really used the correct method to get POVs across. I hope this is a method they use in their dorms. Truly what an amazing leader. As someone like yeosang, I’ve learnt that being friends with 3 ppl is hard. 2 are always closer and ones Just on the side and speaks when necessary.
I think after this conversation, I noticed that San tried to include Yeosang more and to go out of his way to care for him. I really love watching ATEEZ grow as individuals and as a team - I just find them to be so relatable, even as I'm blown away by their talent.
I really think atiny make this whole thing deeper then what it was. People act like it was some intense fight or something. They weren't being that serious. It's an important lil convo to have but none of them were bothered and they were laughing most of the time. There's no uncomfortable body language or words said. I really think they were all amused at the topic more than anything. Also, when someone says they hope San wasn't uncomfortable people jump down their throats in defense of Yeosang. Paying attn to San doesn't mean you don't care about Yeosang lol. I've seen atiny literally fight over this and try to talk about things that don't even concern them or about things they couldn't possibly know about with ateez. This fandom internationally seems to be younger, but that doesn't mean it needs to be immature. Fans need to remember that we don't know 75% of these guys lives or even their personalities. Don't assume anything about their lives or situations or conversations. This so called drama wasn't even drama it was typical boy friendship stuff in a group. They worked it out. Woosan spend more time with the rest of them now. Sidenote it's not San or Woo's fault that they became closer. Different friendships are different. Yeosang is friends with both of them and I'm glad he spoke up about feeling lonely cuz Woo wouldn't have known otherwise.

I really understand Yeosang. Two years ago, I was in the same position as him.My best friend since school (9 years of friendship at that moment) knew a friend of mine at her job. They have similar personalities, likes and hobbies. In a very short time they became very close. I was studying at uni, so it was difficult for me to see her. It was kind of hurt at the beginning, just thinking that my best friend found some similar to her. Because we are kind of opposite. After some time, I realize I was kind of glad she found someone similar to her. Because she can do things she was not able to do with me.
I totally understand the position that these 3 are in. It’s def hard to keep oneself from getting hurt by seeing their bestest of friends be close with another. If yeosang was not being so considerate of everyone’s feelings, it would Ben hard for others to get close to his best friend bc they already have that kind of bond. This was from long ago but I feel myself in Yeosang's shoes, my friend was the only one I can talk to comfortably and seeing her all of a sudden grow cold to me really hurt me, to the point I had a mental breakdown in front of her. My friend talked to me and I told her all of my concerns, she understood me and tried her best to make it up because she knew that she was the only one I'm incredibly close to. I'm glad that we got through that time and I also learned to accept that my friend can have other friends too, and she learned that she would at least treat all of her friends equal.

As someone with yeosang's personality I think he's thinking that woo likes san more and have fun with each other more and that he should just let woo be and distance himself from that. He mustve felt like he lost his best friend (wooyoung is a lovable social butterfly and san is the same too and even in my opinion they suit each others personalities much more) I'm the same.. I just accept the fact that my feelings don't reciprocate and I don't want to ruin the other persons friendship either so I just fade away into the background. I think this is related to the personality type of both, my understanding is that Yeosang is an introvert and both San and Wooyoung are extroverts so of course is gonna be difficult for him to integrate and also he had a point of explaining why he wanted to have a relationship with all the members. As an introvert like Yeosang, and a person who's been through the same thing as Yeosang. I know how it hurts. I think the reason he gave short replies to woo is that he wanted attention. When my friend used to leave me out and sometime later come talk to me I'd always give her short replies, I did this because I knew my friend would say "what's wrong?" as soon as she saw me quiet. In all honesty, I did it because I wanted attention, I wanted her to worry about me instead of someone else, even for a tiny moment. I wanted to see if she cared and noticed I was a bit off, I think Yeosang did the same.

I have the type of character like woo (extrovert). The people like us need for some honest clarification or sharing our feeling for know each other more. If they didn't sharing their feeling for us, the type like me or woo didn't understand what's going on with this. Thats true but then again its not woos fault either. It was just a big misunderstanding they both had woo thought yeosang didnt care about him as much and found someone he can be more open too while yeosang just wanted to make sure the members didnt feel intimated by them. So i just know if they had better communication skills this wouldve never happen but im also glad it happened earlier then later and it also helped them learn and understand eachother more.

Yeosang is the kind of person who won't go and say it out loud for the good of the team. We can notice it in many videos how he try his best to not make the others feel bad about anything he says even though he can be brutally honest he Trully care about their feelings.

i think it was a hard time for him bcs he's not used to situations like that, he keeps all in himself. But he handled the situation so well and blamed himself for everything :) i don't know how much he's hurt, but he faced this situation strongly and i admire him for that.

Hongjoong, Seonghwa, and Jongho all stepped in here to make sure the situation didn't get out of hand. Wooyoung is the classic extrovert who externalizes everything and has a hard time connecting to people's internalized feelings, and Yeosang is the classic introvert who has trouble externalizing his feelings but is very good at picking up on the internalized feelings of others. San doesn't really factor in to this conversation to be honest, because he's not the issue, and I'm glad Hongjoong pointed out Yeosang's maturity here and how it demonstrates the strength of their friendship - even if Yeosang felt hurt by Woo he didn't blame him or attack him for it. Another comment mentioned that after this they all seemed to be closer and I think that's true - San went out of his way to include Yeosang many times after this. It's a difficult situation but I"m glad they were able to solve it - these kinds of misunderstandings at their age can often get out of hand but because Seonghwa, Hongjoong, and Jongho all mediated they were able to manage while being cognizant of everyone's feelings. I hope other ATINY don't feel too saddened by this - it's a natural part of life and the fact that they can talk about it and work through it demonstrates that they really value each other and want to grow together. You don't put this much effort into solving a misunderstanding unless you're very invested in the relationship. Hongjoong deserves a lot of credit here because he stopped Woo and clarified the reality of the situation even though they were on live - he put Yeosang's feelings and fairness to him first and that really shows how much he values fairness in his team. I'm glad they got to talk about this and I hope that Yeosang continues to be loved and cared for bythe members.
After this incident it's quite evident San tries to include Yeosang at his best and mostly by skinship, and Yeosang being the mature one accepts and goes along. I don't know about Wooyoung but the way Yeosang and San try to be matured is worth appreciation.

as someone who is like that, it hurts because people are always assuming that you are fine and don't need the same treatment as the other friends. friendship-wise everyone is family, but actions wise i am the one that doesn't recieve much skinship, together time, outings etc. im the one clicking the photos/recording but not the one my friends go out of their way to get a photo with-i always have to ask/get in. people dont go out of their way for me. ive had to deal with not being the priority and asking to be included. its all because i never share when they upset me or make me feel left out because a-firstly im an introvert so they wouldn't understand my concerns and the way i take things in and b-i know it will make things awkward. if i cry about how they dont do much with me, then when they do fix their behaviour, it'll feel forced, because the way i see it is if you really wanted to spend time with me, you wouldve done it without me having to ask. and who am i to be jealous of everyone else because i am happy for them. being type 9 is a burden because you understand things so deeply you put your self last because its easy to convince yourself that things are the way they by their intention and the whole dynamic cant be destroyed by a sensitive person. like imagine being the cause of a whole group walking on eggshell around you...

To be honest, i have been felt in the same of situation like woo and i'm the extrovert like him. That so hard when you in woo's situation too. Honestly, Wooyoung didn't even realize what he had done until other people told him. That tells me that if it were not for Yeosang holding onto him that their friendship probably would have grown apart a long time ago. What finally happened is that Yeosang was prepared to let go. Yes he would have remained professional and cordial, but he was closing himself off to Wooyoung. That says a lot about how deeply he cares for him. Because you want the person you care about to be happy, even if it is at your own expense. Yeosang was totally willing to suffer in silence if it meant that Wooyoung would be happier being closest to San. But Wooyoung noticed Yeosang slipping away. I understand what you're trying to say. The fact that Yeosang just poured out his feelings out of nowhere and went as far back as 2 years ago means that he's been holding it in for a while. And wooyoung is the type of person that's tricked by familiarity like San said. He just expects Yeosang to be ok with everything because they've been best friends for years. Just wanna say that this was back in December of 2019. 9 months ago. Their friendship has gotten a lot better and I think they are all closer now. Recently they asked woo about his best friends and he said "Yeosang and San" not only that, but I can see that he has learned how to be with not only San, but the rest of the group too. 💕

We introverts know what yeosang was doing trying to play it off like he was acting hurt when hongjoong was talking about "yeosang looks at wooyoung but then wooyoung looks at san" part. He really was hurt and I think he appreciated how the members explained what they observed but wanted to play it off so it wouldn't become too emotional. As an introvert, I would be SO thankful if someone did that for me in midst of an misunderstanding because there were so many times people i knew kept to themselves and didnt even try to explain it when they also knew there was a problem. It helps us feel like we're not alone and that feeling is enough to give us courage to speak sincerely.
After looking back, this was a wonderful way to get words off of their chests. Everyone who wanted to speak, spoke. The rest of the members were respectful and only chimed in at appropriate times. Hongjoong really used the correct method to get POVs across. I hope this is a method they use in their dorms. Truly what an amazing leader. As someone like yeosang, I’ve learnt that being friends with 3 ppl is hard. 2 are always closer and ones Just on the side and speaks when necessary.
I think after this conversation, I noticed that San tried to include Yeosang more and to go out of his way to care for him. I really love watching ATEEZ grow as individuals and as a team - I just find them to be so relatable, even as I'm blown away by their talent.

I really understand Yeosang. Two years ago, I was in the same position as him.My best friend since school (9 years of friendship at that moment) knew a friend of mine at her job. They have similar personalities, likes and hobbies. In a very short time they became very close. I was studying at uni, so it was difficult for me to see her. It was kind of hurt at the beginning, just thinking that my best friend found some similar to her. Because we are kind of opposite. After some time, I realize I was kind of glad she found someone similar to her. Because she can do things she was not able to do with me.
I totally understand the position that these 3 are in. It’s def hard to keep oneself from getting hurt by seeing their bestest of friends be close with another. If yeosang was not being so considerate of everyone’s feelings, it would Ben hard for others to get close to his best friend bc they already have that kind of bond. Meanwhile there is San who is just super affectionate toward woo and I can imagine how he’s feeling too😩I personally have to remind myself not to get jealous of my best friend being with her other friends but I def struggle because she’s my only friend

This was from long ago but I feel myself in Yeosang's shoes, my friend was the only one I can talk to comfortably and seeing her all of a sudden grow cold to me really hurt me, to the point I had a mental breakdown in front of her. My friend talked to me and I told her all of my concerns, she understood me and tried her best to make it up because she knew that she was the only one I'm incredibly close to. I'm glad that we got through that time and I also learned to accept that my friend can have other friends too, and she learned that she would at least treat all of her friends equal.

When I'm with them, If I don't match theirs energy,it just feels awkward for me like my presence is not needed I don't want to feel left out. So I let them be and occupy myself with other things.

I've been in YeoSang's shoes a lot of times when I was younger, but the difference is, I let those people go, and today, I don't make lasting friendships because I am a boring person who really loves being alone. Yes, I'm married, but my husband understands when I'm locked in a room for hours by myself xD.
This is heartbreaking and heartwarming at same , and this is so so relatable at least in my case and I am Yeosang here .
