"Once you bring your logo in..." So, did you bring it in as merged layers , choose a layer? Is the footage imported as Footage or composition? New users to After Effects are stopped dead before they can even start as that part was glossed over.

Question/Problem: if I put the „auto-traced“ on my picture, my picture (Logo) is white, like in the video, but it shouldn’t be white, so what can I do (5:23)? Cause if I press the „eye-button“ off, everything is normal again, but the „Stroke Glow“ is gone :(

Problem solved: Import your logo with at transparent background in again and place it at the top of all the Vegas files. And apply the same exact effect and key frames as the Placeholder 😊 So when your applying the affect to the placeholder make sure to have the top logo selected also 😁

Go look at some “for beginners” videos to get a basic understanding

Once I created the shapes it was turning my entire composition grey and I didn't know why...then I scrolled down and saw this comment lol. Thank You.

IF auto trace is making logo white just change blend mode to MULTIPLY

When you change to multiply the veges lines don't show correctly

Please press shift 8 bottom on the keyboard. It gives you the asterisk sign
hold alt then click on the rotation stop watch

@@neuralgarden using the laptop keyboard. Alt click has always worked for me, even on other Adobe software like Illustrator
