Great review of the machines but for jobs I do I have to think of widths in tight access yards ! I have the smaller ditch witch machines and bar none they are the best on the market! Hands down! These larger ones just take it to a higher level! As far as maintenance they are the easiest to work on! If you need a ride on see a ditch witch dealer and get one!
The purpose of a mini skid steers is width. Anything over 42” you are in skid steer territory. I would therefore get the Vermeer CTX 160. 42” wide, can lift 1600lbs at hinge point.
Witch one would u recommend in trenching house beams I do concrete work and doing lots of track homes 1500 to 2000 sqft so I need a strong machine that can trench quick only trench witch one u recommend please

Ditch Witch considers the SK3000 to be a full sized skid, not a mini.
Why there is no weight kit on sk 3000 ?
We didn't need it because it's a beast.
