Great video, Kip! They are so much fun aren't they?! I've even bought a helmet for my huge melon-head, and I'm planning on installing a switch to turn on/off the throttle (save having to remove it if I want to go on public roads) 👍
Ahh I’m glad you enjoyed it dude! I’ve actually been out on mine every day since I unboxed it. It’s lots of fun!! Might do a bit of tinkering on mine too.. 👀
"It;s got a real kick when you pedal" - It really does kick in, mine has 5 mode settings, I find I'm using a middle setting for better range.

That quick-re;ease wheel lever ... PLEASE put it facing UP parallel with the forks, it worries me :-) If you're keeping it, replace those pedals (chinese bulk-produced ones notorious for cracking) and don't even THINK about using that lock 🙂

(Mine is a component build ebike and I found the wire connection to disable the limiter. Hit 29mph on just the throttle. Scared the crap out of me. I reset it - don't need that kind of speed, ever.)

Thanks for the mention of putting the lever facing up. I shall remember this. I ordered my bike, which is in white off Amazon. I so cannot wait for a new electric bike. My folding e-bike needs to many repairs and with the black Friday sale I treated myself to a early Christmas present :)

You don't have to remove or turn the seat when removing the battery. It folds up.
I assembled a electric trike for my step dad and was a pain but I got it put together and he hasn't even rode it.

I bought the white one in the Black Friday sale on Amazon whilst waiting for my flight home from Florida on Friday hahaha! I so cannot wait for it to be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm hoping Wednesday. I am also going to buy a protective cover for the battery on Amazon, so it will be protected more in all weather's.

Hello. Please let me know if your bicycle arrived. I bought the bike on kornorge website on 19th November and i didn't receive any updates from them, I'm so anxious about it. I wrote them a email about my issue. But im in the dark. No updates.

@@raianeleite4986 the BYS delivery company sent me a text to say it be delivered on Friday. I've had to reschedule for next Monday due to work commitments. If the depot wasn't four hours away by public transport I would of gone there, put it together and brought it home hahaha!
@@raianeleite4986 Hello Florida ☺️ it may take longer to get to you I'm not sure. Did they tell you on the order how many days approximately? I don't know about the website you bought from you see, as I bought mine off Amazon.
that is something I didn't know an e-bike upto 15.5 mph is still classed as a pedal bike, but if the e-bike is able to go over 15.5 mph then you do need a licence to ride it, as then classed in the same catagory as a moped, which also carries a speed limiter of 30 - 40 mph. and a bit silly that a cyclist can do 60 in a 30 zone legally without any legal consiquences, as long as they can pedal or going down a very long downhill stretch with the wind behind them! the so called private field looks more like a public footpath, and if it is a public footpath then the speed limit is 4mph, as a disabled scooter has to be limited to 4mph even if it is capable of upto 8 mph, so while a road legal disable scooter is able to go faster, they have to flick a switch that limits them to 4mph in a pedestian zone. so just be aware of that Kip.
also my brother was looking into hiring an e-bike but think he is thinking more on the lines of a what would be classed as moped one, as parents dog went missing last week while in the forestry. he tried my cousins e-bike, but wasn't good enough for the terrain, and the steepness of the hills in the area, and a normal e-bike wouldn't give enough assistance in that situation, as you can imagine everyday up and down the forestry several times a day is a killer on the old legs, so was already knackered before looking into an e-bike.
Lucky you Kip, these new cyclist's laws are a pain in the proverbial especially if they are power assisted 😁. great review though.

The disturbing fact regarding DYU importers is the after-sales service is non-existent. DYU operate from within the EU, & EU law doesn't apply to the UK. Junk, buyer beware.
I’ve ridden mine pretty much every day since it arrived, still working as it should. Plus these are sold on Amazon UK too, so you can use Amazon’s strong returns policy if needed. 👍🏼
