(It may just be my Midwestern ears, but... I saved a lot of stopping and replaying after I changed the playback to 0.75 speed.) Thanks for a super-helpful tutorial. I really like the Console over the frighteningly complex Uno.
Excellent as always. I would have been lost without your videos on SDRUno and I found this one on SDR Console (my current SDR software of choice) very helpful as well.
I am new to SDR play and SDR Console. Your video is incredibly well done and very helpful. Thank you for making such a great video and the mentioned resources.
I've tried for several softwares for RSP2 available. To my preference, HDSDR has the best sound quality and simplest operations choices while SDRUNO has the best functions needed. I top those two against others.
That's interesting. It seems everyone settles on a favourite for their needs. We see SDR-Console, HDSDR and SDRuno all have their fans :-) Here, at SDRplay, we will continue to add features to SDRuno and do all we can to work with the SDR Console and HDSDR authors as they enhance their software.
Mike, I noticed that in the list of sdrs for AIRSPY (AIRSPY, AIRSPY (SPY Server) and AIRSPY HF +). I have AIRSPY and SPYVERTER, how is that setup in the profile? Also I own a NTi GA3005 Wideband Active Antenna 9 kHz - 3000 MHz and I have an external dc power supply (13.8VDC) for the power injector. The power injector needs either a DC power input 5.5-15 VDC (max 120 mA) or a USB A to USB B power cable. So will turning on the bias tee be enough to power the power injector and remove the external power source?
the author SDR-Console provides his software for amateur use for free. However - if you are a keen user, please consider donating some money to help fund all the dedicated hardware he needs to run beta tests of new capabilities. SDR can appear confusing if you're used to traditional radios. I recommend joining an active Facebook group like facebook.com/groups/sdrplay/ and asking questions there - people will respond with helpful guidance and no question is treated as too dumb to ask! (You don't need to own an SDR of any kind)
Oy vey. Windows 10. Was using my RSP 2 Pro with SDR Console with only occasional crashes but now it won't run at all with the latest API. If I use the SDRPlay API 3.09 it'll work for a while, then throw a BSOD "System Service Error", forcing me into a reboot. If I use the API 3.11, it will show the RSP 2 Pro as available, but it won't start it. Just sits there doing nothing. Can't use my older RSP 1 with Console at all, won't show up as an available radio. Really ticks me off because SDR Console is just so much more capable and user friendly than SDRUno, which of course works fine no matter what and doesn't crash or BSOD my machine. Grrrrrr arrrgghhhhhh....
This is my go to user interface for my RSP1 because it's more flexible for my listening requirements especially on shortwave and amateur radio.
Excellent. I use Console v3 every day and you showed me a few things. Keep up the good work!

Mike, Just got back to my RSP-1 after quite a while, thanks for all your videos

good video and excellent explanation. I have a Stl-sdr V4 and it does not work, it detects the drive but does not recognize the V4 version
Awesome Mike!!!
Cant wait for the next video...
Great video, helped demystify the steep learning curve, as new to SDR, Thanks.
Another excellent video. Thanks Mike. :)

I cannot figure this SDR out... its way over my head. I don't get any radio
