As Josh gets older (I'm writing this in May 2023), i am loving his deeper register whenever I hear it. He is developing his voice superbly with able guidance from his coach Ron Browning.

One of the most amazing thing about these guys is their peaceful Army.We truly are a family.A live performance is like a reunion.
There is something other-worldly about Josh’s voice and also about the musical arrangements and skill level! It’s almost literally out of this world. Can it be???

The whole Red Rocks Concert is phenomenal... I've gone several times to just watch a few songs and end up watching the whole thing. A real magic carpet ride. This band loves their music and loves their fans. Giving it a hundred and ten percent.

The first thing my wife and I plan to do once live music is back is leave the baby with the grandparents and go to a Greta concert. It's the one thing we miss the most over the last 1+ years is not being able to go see live music. Never going to take it for granted again. You, my friend, also seem like you would be a blast to chill and rock out with at a concert!
Hey man, you got the right idea on that idea! I think we all took things like this for granted. I am going to make a point to go to as many concerts as I can, from good old fashioned beautiful music like GVF all the way to the most brutal metal possible (lol). When he started talking about the skill involved and how difficult it is to replicate it live I subscribed!! I just went and saw them when they came to Nashville and when they played this song I about started crying because of how good it was and how long I had waited to hear it!
Hi Mike, you probably already know by now that Red Rocks is indeed an outdoor amphitheater formed by natural red rocks that provide excellent acoustics. But something extraordinary to note is that since the location is way up in the mountains, Josh needed to take every chance he could to duck backstage for oxygen so he could perform this well. His voice control is fantastic as it is, but when you take that into consideration, it makes you stand back in admiration.
I was there man both nights front row. It was INCREDIBLE!! Nothing will ever compare to it.

I saw them in Chicago in 2018 and they were outstanding then too. I can only imagine how incredible they were in person at Red Rocks.
Yess! I'm so happy you reacted to this! Honestly, I think Josh sounds ever better live, and the instruments too actually. And since this video came out, whenever people tell me they have no idea who Greta Van Fleet is, I go like "HOLD ON", and then put on Age of Man live at Red Rocks, because this performance is EVERYTHING!
I was there, in front on the 4th row. It was amazing!!!! Even more amazing is that he was able to sing like that in the atmosphere there. It's a mile up and the air is a bit thin. Just singing along and cheering made me cough and breathe hard at times. And yes, it is outdoors! You should check out the venue website to see what a magnificent setting it is.

Seen them live only once when they came to my home town Glasgow in Scotland. They are unreal and easily the best live band I have ever heard. Josh voice and the whole band for that matter all sound so much better live. Even caught a white rose that Josh threw into the crowd 😂

I wasn’t at this show but I saw them in Charlotte in an outdoor ampitheatre and it was insane. They sounded even better from the 8th row 👍. Really good vibes

My youngest daughter age 17 introduced me to Greta Van Fleet. They are better than Zeppelin who I grew up on. Everytime I hear their music I'm covered in goosebumps.

I've never seen them live, but I have friends who've seen them and they all say GVF puts on a fantastic show. The day I see them live will be one of the best days of my life. Just a recommendation, you should react to "When the Curtain Falls", both the music video and them playing it live on Fallon. It's my close second favorite song by them, right behind Age of Man.
Im the biggest GVF fan and this is my first time seeing this and it was so hard not to cry, the astethic and feeling is off the charts

Lover leaver Taker Believer live in LA is a 26 minute journey!! You should do this one. It is long but worth every second.

I was there down front. They took us all on a magical musical journey. GRETA is LIVE band not a studio band that is what makes them so PURE! Picture this venue huge red cliff rocks with lights on them that shows their beautiful Redness on either side of you and there you are in the middle! For it to be outside the acoustics where amazing! Complete show or both nights on you tube 1 hour of glory!!

I was there, row 7, both nights for my 7th & 8th time seeing them. Red Rocks was spectacular!!! Best show I’ve been to. Outdoors with Red Rocks on both sides. They sold out 9000 seats both nights. Do listen to Black Flag Exposition and Lover Leaver...both songs they extend with jams that will amaze you.

Told ya he hits those notes live, I certainly was not kidding :-) Few others for you to check out - The Cold Wind (Super rockin), Watching Over (Lyrical Message Song), When The Curtain Falls (Super rockin), Edge of Darkness (This is the song that turned me onto them from their first album)....Screw it man, you're in this deep, just do videos on their whole discography, I'd be surprised if you were disappointed by anything else other than the your aforementioned Highway Tune, which I agree, was catchy at first but not a good representation of their talent. That song was more of their entry into getting noticed and from there were able to gain the resources to grow as a band in this short amount of time.

I saw them live, 2 years ago here in Argentina. They played at the Gran Rex Theater. I was in row 4. Amazing, outstanding perfomance, incredible sound. They were going to return on the tour with Metallica, but the covid arrived ..
Watching you see them perform new things and your Reactions to Josh's voice is So Much Fun to Watch! I hope you get to see them at one of the shows this year... they are All outside.

I am in Australia so my dream of seeing them up front and live is probably a longshot. Cannot imagine anyone leaving feeling anything other than blissed out - I think I would not even be able to speak coherently for a couple of days. I adore these guys.

Honestly being there must have felt like a spiritual experience....just WOW!

I just saw these guys live August 5th, 2021 and they were AMAZING!! It was an outdoor venue and it was the best show that I have ever seen. These guys are so talented. If you get the chance to see them, GO!!
Hi Tracy,was that the show in Franklin Tenn? I was going to go to that show and something came up so I didn't make it,and have regretted it ever since then,I heard it was amazing,and that they have people from just about any age group,enjoying the peace and love that their music provides! I will attend at least one of their concerts before my time is up! I absolutely love this band and the type of compassion and love that their music provides. How in the world could anyone not love this band and their music,the amount of talent and just the power alone is unrealistic. Just hearing them on the radio I could never believe that they are a 4piece band with only keys/base,drums, guitar and Josh singing,it sounds like so much more! It only proves what real music,with real instruments and no electronics can actually sound like,so amazing,so wonderful to see real rock again! This particular song gets to me so emotionally,it is my favorite song although they don't have any bad ones!
Hi @Bill Taylor, it was in Franklin. I have since seen them in Birmingham, Al & going to Tampa!! If you can catch them, I highly recommend it. Truly an awesome experience!

It is outdoors but it is a fog machine too. Check out the Red Rock Amphitheater - the rock cliffs around the stage form natural sound baffles that create PERFECT sound for the audience!

Bro. Your enthusiasm for a new growing young talented band, so far ahead it's weird to watch. I saw Zep three time in the 70's, but I never got to see them grow. This is excitement for all of us. This host is feeling it, portraying it from sincerity and this doesn't happen when "Post Malone", whoever the heck he is, puts out a "song"? Is it a "song"? If you don't get this much love from the troubadors who give you this kind of power in music, and need to have dancers and robo drums, and CAN'T SING, man, GVF sure 'outs' them, don't they? Go GVF.
People have accused him of using autotune but you can't autotune live singing! (Honestly, though, on some live video clips he's off key - when he's tired and his voice gets a little ragged.)
