Interesting thing to note about period pain simulators: tested on women they usually said that the simulation is pretty accurate when it comes to the pain level. It can be hard to see the individual impact you have on those who watch and interact with you, but I promise, you have changed so many lives! Interesting thing to note about period pain simulators: tested on women they usually said that the simulation is pretty accurate when it comes to the pain level. One theory why men cant handle these simulators is because they are not used to that sort of pain, experiencing this specific sort of pain for the first time in their life when using such a simulator.The more often you experience a specific sort of pain the better you can handle it. Thus women can handle period pain much better than men (simulated for the latter) because they are used to it after having their period for years or even decades, despite men (generally speaking) having a higher pain tolerance.
Furthermore: people have different pain tolerances for different sorts of pain. A pain that would have me writhing in pain would barely bother the next person and for a different kind of pain it would be the exact opposite. Some research suggests that women are better at handling a sort of constant pain, while men are better at handling sudden, sharp pain. A theory about this is, that women are better at handling a constant, "staying" pain for the exact purpose of being able to endure periods and childbirth, whereas men are better at handling sharp, sudden pain to better tolerate injuries from for example fighting others or animals.
